ive had quite a few people say you cant tell a worker by its looks or that dog has never done any work in its life well the judge is not judging its working abilaty only its looks and conformation and condition i have judged probally thousands of lurchers and never been able to tell its a good worker or not by judging it the only place for that is in the feild in winter months .

the reason for pulling his tail round is to get a better look at the length and see if it reaches up around to the dogs pinbones the reason for dropping the dog on to its front feet is to see if it is straight legged and to check its feet to see if they are flat footed or strong and up on the toes when you pick up the dog and drop it you can see the natural stance of the dog .the reason being that if there are one or two dogs that are equally as nice as each other which can frequently happen you then have to start looking for the dog with the least fault in conformation something that you ca

put my litter of genuine first cross greyhound salukis in there paid proper money for a good advertisment and all sold by 10.30 thursday morning and could have sold the whole litter again in fact still got people phoning 6 weeks later .

been in the motor trade nearly 30 years and dont worry he is trying it on as a private sale whether he is a trader or not he hasnt got a leg to stand on.sold as seen by the way isnt worth the paper its wrote on the only way you can sell a car sold as seen is if you get them to sign sold for spares or repairs to be towed or trailered away but if you try this most people dont want to do it no m,atter how cheap the vehicle is and ricky springer you cant stand traders well believe me joe public can be ten times worse than traders and get away with it .why is it so bad to earn a livingselling mo

in my opinion the man was a bully of the top order and on top of that a wife beater and control freak look at how he made that child stand outside with a hat on for hours because it had been naughty. him and others like him should all be in the ground and the world would be a much better place anyone who respects a thug like him needs their head examined like he should have .

and just had it off good authority that the countrymans weekly are no longer accepting this companys adverts same as all decent companies they dont want these kind of people advertising in their company .

welshwizard google k9 transport and i gaurantee you or any other member on here will never use this company again . i gaurantee this company will be out of buisness in the next few weeks .take a read of all the shit this mans nephew who is the real owner has been up to a real sicko and ive used the company myself in the past i cant see j darcy letting him advertise on here when it comes out .

my advice would be go to a show and buy the best you can afford that are the most comfortable.

whoever said a lurcher has more prey drive than a greyhound is wrong full stop but lurcher every time imo.

i used to run a deerhound x greyhound 28tts that had a terrific strike on her. rabbits or hares very lightly built bitch with great agilaty and its this not size imo which gives them the abilaty to catch their prey.

when i was much younger and a lot more foolish a old guy when i told him his dog was to tall for rabbits said put his dinner down in front of him and watch how quick he gets down to it . hes the same on a rabbit . made me laugh then and always sticks in my mind.

ive gotta ask why would anyone want a threequarter bull quarter greyhound as a lurcher. thought long and hard and cant come up with a answer but each to their own i suppose . but the reverse will do just the same job but much more besides .

when walking the greyhounds who are al;l on leads it pisses me off bigtime when someones dog is loose and running round the greyhounds and everytime without fail i get they wont hurt them .well guess what the ferckin greyhounds will if they get a chance so keep the dog on a lead in a public place where theres a chance your going to bump into other people with or without a dog . there rant over.

i think macsen was being very polite by saying the judging was rushed .could have said more .enjoyed the day with the family but ime welsh and the pissheads do spoil the day if youre there with the family for a day out separate sites for the pissheads and families is a great idea imo.great to see sammy vaughn enjoying the day still bright as a button if a bit slower getting around . he to was polite in sayoing the lurcher judging was a bit riushed .

innan those days were as good as it gets coursing wise. great runs with great likeminded mates with some great craic and all with the same outlook to watch and enjoy a good course regardless of the outcome .

anyone that think all coursers give kickups should have seen the club me and innan run in one short slip even by accident and you get a mouthfull and dont run again that day even if you have travelled four or five hours to get there . but it was coursing at its best and a honest test of a running dog.
