go on to greyhound and pet world they have some really superp top class running dog ornaments .they always were at the waterloo cup .

when i was a lot younger numbers did matter didnt feel we had a good night if there wasnt a big bag in the morning . those were the days when i was out every night i could getting in at 5.30 and clocking on at 6am nowadays ide rather see one good run than loads of piss poor ones ive travelled all over the country hunting and drove 4 hrs each way to end up with one run . but as long as it was a good run and some of the otheres had runs it doesnt matter . bit like sex really quality is much better than quality .lol.and it doesnt need to be a huge lurcher to take big stuff regular once had a 23

google greyhound supplies or premarket greyhound supplies or greyhound and pet stores or if you put in greyhound star theres loads of suppliers in there .i know one supplier advertises in countrymans weekly most weeks .

most liurchers have greyhounds in them to some degree so they cant be that bad as said previously bred three litters to greyhounds and they all made the grade with no litterwastage as far as i know but obviously didnt follow every pup .they will give you heart speed and prey drive whatever you put them to in my opinion their the finest dog walking this earth and a great start to breed a lurcher

the royal family are part of our tradition just like foxhunting and feildsports and we all know what happened to that at least their into their hunting and feildsports wanting rid of them is no differant to wanting hunting stopped .{ie }wanting another british tradition and part of history gone .me i would prefer to hang on to what we have left of our heritage and history including the royal family

i collect all running dog books and a cracking little known book is hounds hares and other creatures a complete book of coursing very good read written by steve copold ordered off internet could not get it anywhere else . but well worth having in your collection if interested in running dogs .

what it really boils down to is individual preferance what we want in a lurcher. myself i love the up and at them type over the more steady type .not saying one is better than the other just personal preferance but as far as coursing or track bred ive found doesnt make the blindest bit of differance imo.

if your breeding a greyhound with a saluki or collie or most other breeds then the stamina should come in abundance from the other side anyway . the differance between a coursing or track greyhound is going to be minimal when breeding a lurcher out of them .

i work lurchers and race greyhounds and in the last 25 years have bred 3 litters using a greyhound stud and without exception what they have always threw is speed and heart to want their quarry above all else . the one litter i bred was seven eights greyhound and 1 eighth pit bull and the whole litter were top class but did run up vets bills like no tomorrow .this litter had plenty of wind but what you have to remember although they were nearly all greyhound they were brought up properly and conditioned for working and were worked hard 2 of them are still in my home town in fact a member on h

never really bothered with my old man didnt get on and didnt speak for 28 yrs but still must be in the genes because like him i live for the dogs .and like him never really been without a running dog .we made up when he was on his deathbed and both said what a waste of 28 years .but thats life but i know one thing i would never let it get that bad with my own kids in fact me and my son more like brothers and guess what he is in to the dogs as well .ever since a little kid .so lets hope his son is as well .
