most of the greyhound rescue centres are great and a real help and a lot of them are run on charity and need all the help they can get -

had a 2nd cross deerhound greyhound pup of him as a pup and ended up a very good bitch on rabbits and hares day and night .caught 3 out of 3 a few times on the fens daytime brilliant pick up and would jump anything in front of her . the surprising thing was she would not do the bigger stuff even the ones that dont bite back and her parents and most of her litter ended up very good on larger quarry.

imo even if they give a free vote it will not get overuled and even if it did they might make it harder than it is already by putting in to many rules . as it is there are loopholes which allow it to carry on if you are clever enough to use them .got pulled 4 times last season and got away with it every time .always be polite and freindly this along with a few other things always goes a long way .

dave latts 2nd cross to 2nd cross throw very uniform you will definately know what their going to be like they all come out like peas in a pod ive recentyly bred a litter of first cross saluki greyhounds out of my own greyhound bitch to a full saluki 10 pups 9 all alike and the tenth one which ive kept looks like a bloody collie greyhound

all i put on there was the ban is a joke it doesnt work and doesnt really please anybody anti or pro hunting and some of their members complained about my post so the admin threatened to stop me going on there and said didnt i know it was a anti hunting site which i didnt up untill then .and up untill then it seemed ok to me as well .

ive just been told to calm it on bring back foxhunting on facebook for saying it as it is with the goverment and the hunting ban they said unless i cool it down i will be banned not only that ive pmed all my mates on facebook to get them to join up but guess what am i a nobhead or what ive just found out that on facebook BRING BACK FOXHUNTING is a anti hunting site so anyone wanting a bit of fun join up and fill your boots frigging antis .

ive worked lurchers all my life and i race greyhounds and the prey drive in greyhounds is over the top they only see what their chasing and are blind to anything in their way.i did own a threequarter greyhound quarter pitbull bitch who had the same sort of prey drive unbelievable one gear only i did own a deerhound x greyhound who although good on rabbits and hares would not go near the big stuff and she was bred out of real killing machines on larger quarry . but the prey drive on the greyhound is second to none

ades hunting shooting and fishing shop on the industrial est cwmbran some cracking deals just obought new lamp and he threw battery in for free cant fault that and he will have a deal on anything in shop and he sells everything you could want .well worth a visit or call in for look round as i said well stocked shop .

looking at the picture and i know its differant from looking at the dog lots of greyhound and part whippet looks a bit roached back in the picture but if it does the job who cares what it is and tbh most crosses are that mixed a lot of it is bullshit as far as parentage is concerned .but looks a nice dog and in good nick so the best of luck with him .

i have a massive collection of running dog books and firmly believe this book will be very much sought after and coveted in years to come . bit like standfast press coursing not a book you read cover to cover but beautiful book to own and digest every now and again .

they can twist and turn under theirselves and i aint really ever seen a fox run in a straight line .preservation is their main concern .seen a lot more dogs that couldnt catch them than could .single handed ime talking about anyone who thinks any old lurcher is good enough to catch and kill a fox aint run many .
