  1. Bit of a massive generalization about somewhere that breeds a f**k ton of dogs. And i think a false one. hancock does bred a hell of alot of dogs...fact..he breeds from unproven stock...fact and the majority of them are rather ugly looking things....fact, but if thats yer bag so be it...and yes ideaton my mate has a hancock 26tts 80lb,top class dog chasing a carrier bag...cowardly lion on all other counts and that includes bunnies :toast: :toast: Mate, you have been on here long enough to know i cant fecking stand hancock or how / what he does. I would NEVER go to him for a do
  2. fcuktheban - beast i could do mate!
  3. Right, i'm not being sexist, but whats with women breeding ferrets this year? Just seems a lot of women kicking about breeding Black, E.U, silver mitted, wild, micro, beaver ferrets these days. I get the impression that the most 'work' they see is exploring behind the sofa. Are they the new cat?
  4. Alright mate, first things first you need to ask yourself if you have the work for 3/4/5 ferrets as opposed to 2. If so then crack on. Same with breeding, you need to ask yourself do you REALLY need more ferrets, and if so, do you REALLY need to breed a litter yourself, of potentially 10 + kits, if there are other decent litters available to you to have kits from. Sounds like you are on the right track with regard to getting in a young jill and working her before you breed, but it will take a few good seasons to figure that out. FOr example, kits born this summer, will not really work
  5. Were they pregnant John? The reason I'm asking is I shot one last night for bait and one today and both were pregnant! I thought with all the baby bunnies I'm seeing around that they would have finished mating and had their young by now. cheers Callum They breed constantly mate, they can be pregnant again while still finishing off nursing the last litter They will keep mating right up until the weather turns.

Don't bite so easy love This place is lethal for piss takers. Your dogs, your dog, if it makes you happy, why do you give a feck what someone called tedddd thinks it's cute or not? dont you own a whippet   Used to mate, but i shot it, it
  8. Same time as last year, the year before and the year before that . . . . . . . .
  9. Seen a collie x staff that was a half decent busher if that counts?
  10. WIth regards to buying a pup it's a tough one, i wouldn't have random folk to my yard to see dogs, but then i would never buy a pup from a fecking lay-by or car park, so the easiest way to solve that is not to buy or sell dogs with anyone you have not got some kind of friendship with. I won't even have folk here for a ferret kit.
  11. ferrets/smoker Hollow trees / branches mate.

  13. Either just mooch about, or knock them out the trees with a catty, or bolt them with a ferret / smoker.

    BAW

    He is not AM Back.
  15. Like has been said by others, there is nothing you can really do to help a baby ferret until it's near on 4 weeks old. Just check back in tomorrow and check the mom is ok, and then you will just have to leave nature take it's course. It's always a bit difficult with young from a jill you know nothing about. Just keep your fingers crossed. As for Dotty jumping on you, i just think he meant that if this is your first ferret and you bought her pregnant you really jumped into the deep end, and should maybe have spent the last 3 weeks reading EVERYTHING you can on pregnant ferrets and rearing kits.
  16. She's charging for the cage i bet. I expect she over paid, probably forked out 40 quid or something for the ferret and couple of hundred for the cage or something, at one of those pet barn places.
  17. Soul Boy is very well bred. He's just over 3yrs 3months. But i would want confirmation that this litter WAS sired by him.
  18. One tip - it's illegal to hunt/catch/kill foxes with any kind of dog (other than flushing to the gun, or working a single terrier to ground in protection of game birds). If you can find a well bred beddyxgrey it would be better than a beddy/whip for what you want.
  19. People always say this about beddy/whips, but i just don't get it, there is no way they would work the cover as well as a decent terrier/spaniel etc? A good compromise perhaps, but no way a true 'cover dog'.
  20. First thing i'd be doing is ringing Mike B, and asking about that mating.
  21. Just like owt else mate, some folk take themselves WAY to seriously, and it's usually a sign of some kind of insecurity. I do notice in this section that, there are certain folk that you CANNOT give shit to without the thread getting closed / removed, or the cavalry piling in. Whereas in most other sections it's everyman for himself and no one 'reports' anything.
