It happens mate, and it's not ALWAYS the owner. A mate of mine had a saluki/grey x whippet pre-ban. Had tried her on a few foxes and she just wasn't interested, didn't like the idea of being bitten. One night, out with someone else, they saw a fox, and the other guy slipped his mutt, and asked my friend to slip his, the other guys mutt f****d up as the fox jumped a ditch and missed it, and my mates bitch (at the age of 5) got over the ditch, caught foxy and killed it. Did another that night a lone as well. No one was more surprised than the dogs owner. Funny things dogs.

NO ONE DID. When did someone say every whippet would take a fox? NO ONE DID. When did someone say whippets were as good as big dogs for fox? NO ONE DID. When i was a wee kid, like a toddler, i used to watch two films each and every day if i could. Dumbo, and a film about a year in the life of a fox hound pack, and some terrier men and farmers in i think Yorkshire.
