Few on this forum can appreciate such a force,I can,I have sort of inherited a relative, really nice guy,got shot in a robbery maybe 18 or 19 years back, got some decent scars, once he got out of hospital the first thing he did was deal with the guy who shot him, google Davao-death squad,I did a back-seat ride-along with them several times, saw salvage on waste ground, smelt it first,as you said this countrys cops have to have traceability and accountability,no room in a civilised society's police force for rogue cops or uniformed bully boys. Mackem. I sort of get what you are saying on this one

Aye, it's a funny old world. Wild british pheasants??? Went out today for an hour, dog put up well over 40 pheasants from a couple of permission fields i have where i can kill what i like, but me not whacking them there landed me the rights to whack everything else on the 700 + acres next door, so often it's worth staying your hand. This time of year they are dumber than dumb, but as soon as a few shoot days have been done, the minuite they hear a voice, they run as fast as their little legs can carry them Once upon a time when i was younger, and less respectful i went out for them wi

Moe - you are dead right, the dog is great, hell of a nose on him, lots of fire in his belly etc, not the most patient, but he is young, but for the land i work. . . . . probably not the best choice of dog!

He was a newspaper seller on his way home from work, he had to walk through them streets. . . .he didn't come out to riot, he had been at work that day, how is walking away from someone, with your back to them, hands in pockets, head down, being a smart ass? Just because they are the police is, does not make it ok in my eyes to say, well we have to trust them to make a judgement call etc etc etc. It's typical of them in many situations, they do nothing when there are real criminals or trouble makers to deal with, but become billy big bollocks when they have someone weaker than themselves a

Been out with the hounds in it, and will be out when they cut it soon, but only shooting the rabbits. Might go to another watch and stand the field over and see what bolts through the hedge that's a bit redder.

:notworthy: Aye, it was just getting good. . . . . Re-run?

It was a riot.....he hardly looked like he was trying to move away from what was obviously a volatile and possibly violent scene, that being what riots generally are !.......He looked like he was trying to be a clever dick winding up plod by " innocently walking along with his hands in his pockets "........knowing theres a riot going on..........he knew plod were pushing folk back but decided to be a prick.....he dont deserve to die for that but he deserved a shove in my opinion......like i say, accidents happen sadly. I know what you are saying mate, but it's the u.k, not some kind of So

f*****g hell mate, thats horrible. You think all the same folk doing it? Or different groups. Sounds like this will not stop until you gather the troops and take direct action. Do you not have any contact to the groups of folk over there who like to do their bit to protect their local community. Or failing that a mate with a petrol can and a lighter?
-
You keep making references to pre meditated crimes commited by policemen Mackem......thats not what this was and is a completely different thing.....this was not a pre meditated criminal act it was a mistake in the workplace,accident....call it what you will.... My point was,if you make yourself busy with plod it dont always work out well.....im certainly nobody to come down on the side of police ive had my share of shit with them but i accept when things dont go your way you take it on the chin like a proper chap should.......ok this fella didnt deserve to die thats not the issue, but the soo

He never went home to them for 13 years previous to that day either, he much preffered the company of a bottle of grog!.....f**k him, no loss to this planet! Aye and a lot of antis would think it no loss if you were killed, as you are (in their eyes) total scum for hunting? So would it be ok IF you broke the hunting ban and some copper killed you for it?
-
I don't really get it? Can get the guts out with a knife in about 30 seconds.
-
Cheers everyone! Might get a few hours in tomorrow afternoon. Not getting out so much in the eves now as the days are drawing in. But i have some rough shooting tomo morn and then maybe will take the ferrets out for a bit.

Lab. . . . your making it sound like he gave the guy a slight shove and he tripped and banged his head. It was a bit more than that . . . .

Course they do, they are only human......I remeber as a twenty year old kid, we were all trying to get a job on the security at Newbury by pass to get a crack at Swampy and his rent-a-crowd of leftys........it seemed like the way forward at the time I have spent enough time in that shithouse called London to see the underbelly and the hostel dwellers......imho, we should gas % of them! Myself I think, seeing some of the things they do and dealing with some of the people they have to deal with, our police (and armed forces) are very proffesional and show more restraint than I think I c

Free 16 month old Collie Kelpie Greyhound free to good home
Ideation replied to noisey's topic in Working Dogs & Livestock
Any pics? And what has it failed at if you don't mind me asking? PM if you like. -
They sign up for the job and get payed for it - they are not some kind of volunteer heros. They know what they can and can't do when they sign up. If they cross the line, they have to deal with the consequences. Just like, if i go in a fight in a pub and hit some one a few too many times and did some serious damage, i couldn't say 'sorry i didn't mean to'. Also, the police are not some kind of crusaders of good, for most of them it's just a job. I've met plenty of police who take drugs, get in fights, try to intimidate people (especially door staff), are sleazy and lecherous etc. W

Stone Martins. Always used to enjoy watching then chase the rats (and cats!) around the streets.

Aye might of just been the weather as it was crap to be honest. when you walk on your own you normally get plenty of runs, was only last week went up on my own and it was rammed. so I ain't got a clue, the main disheartening thing is when it starts how you want it to, the adrenaline gets pumping then there's sod all else out. that's what got to me the most lol Fairplay, lets just hope it was one of them nights. Looking forward to the frost coming in and killing that jungle off mind.
-
Hello! I lived in Budapest for years and always saw the Martins everywhere at night, it's mental having them all over the city, never seen anything like it. What type are they? With regard to trapping, what about a chicken carcass, and the trap placed a long the edge of the chicken pen?
