    People have always made shows / told stories where they have anthropormorphised animals. Probably since the dawn of time. I loved stories about animals when i was a kid. I don't think that's the issue really. Like has been said, there is an increasing seperation between the general populace of the country and reality. 'Survival' is pretty easy these days, it's a nanny state where most are spoon fed, and hand held through it all. It's probably quite understandable that many folk look down on hunting, for most the desire to kill something is pretty weird. Given the society we live in

    Whippets can be very hard headed from what i have seen. It's not a breed trait, most lurchers if neglected on there training are the same, actually ever breed are, there's been some great advice on here and with time and patients following the advice the dog should come on nicely regardless of breed. IMO whippets are one of the easiest dogs to train Aye, cos you have trained loads of them Oh wait. . . . no, you haven't trained one.

    Being very honest, thats just the way it is. As Brimmer says, a lot of folk are out looking, its very difficult to get a foot in the door. Its usually who you know. Get yourself some cards, i've had no said to me, left a card then got a call a couple of months later when either they are having problems, or the usual guys have given up etc. Even with the idea of going from neighbour to neighbour eventually you still run out of land and bunnies if you are doing a good job. But its just as bad when you get older.

    Nothng on the internet is secret or secure mate. You can't even be sure face to face, let a lone with someone who someone else you dont really know vouches for. Even pms etc are easily read by others.

    I don't dig, so i cant really answer. But in general we now seem to see a lot less foxes in the country. But tons on the outskirts of towns.

"would the anti in yas stop yas" That's right, anyone who doesn't cull hard is an anti. :laugh: nah just ur probably 1 that wud just pass it on to somebody else n h dog gets rehomed time after time Muppet I'd never sell on an adult dog, if i couldnt keep it for some kind of work myself, i would either find it a home with some one that i knew who had a working use for it, or give it away to a trusted pet home. If it had failed to make the grade i would have it spayed / castrated. Simples. To be honest i wouldnt shoot it unless
