  8. Diggermad i'm still waiting to join your rat pack, you posted a while ago now never got back to me, however i'll take up your challenge with one young terrier he's only had 1 rat,1 mouse,a frog and possibly some birds and spiders in the garden(yes hbe's bored now) at a venue of your choosing. He's broken to ferret (i have five jills)reasonably obedient, and i reckon he'll make your veterans look like thbey're just starting,i'm only half hour away what do you say even for the craic and you can publicly post thbe outcome on here, and there'll definitely be no bad feelings, atb, Higgins
  9. The law isn't always an ass.....but most of the time they are... Justice is worse....letting dangerous people out to strike again.... the government who allow all this to happen......are worse than either.
  10. my thoughts on all this is i wouldn't trust my own family let alone neighbbours, even though our neighbours are ok for now,i just get the feeling this country is f****d in every respect and my one aim in life right now is to get away from every f****r to live in the most isolated spot in the country, Higgins

  12. It depends on whether you have a lot of slides to put on,you can fit loads of slides on a dvd,it could be quite pricey, after your fifteen slides for ten,it would be another £5,25 slides is not a lot. What time scale do you have to complete the project, you could do it yourself with one of these from Ebay slide scanner, for thbe cost of hbaving a dvd made you would be able to use the equipment many times to create other dvd's, Higgins. thinking of getting one myself ,have a load of slides to convert whbichb i've not seen for ages..

  15. Yes sorry to hear about your mum by the way,Kay has mentioned Jessops they are usually good for buying this sort of equipment but if not they are probably the best bet for price to transfer your slides on to dvd, best of luck, Higgins. i am sorry to hear about your mom & i think its a very special way to spend this all important time making your Moms day ... Its worth ringing your loacal jessops tomorrow & asking .. there may be someone on here who has used them & will be able to advice you Good luck
  16. Just do a search for 'transfer 35 mm slides to dvd' on google.Or if you want to do it yourself there is a device out that you can put slides in and send to a pc(usb connection)probably the same as a negative viewer, once on the pc compile them in the order you want along with background music of your choice, windows movie maker will do this if you have it or go to pc world and explain what you are doing and they will find a software program that will do it,atb, Higgins
