  5. Thanks Mouse, looks ideal and in good nick as you say,it is something i would have but not in my budget price range though!I think i'm going to have to start from scratch and build one with a panel van, firstly because i need another vehicle soon to get about in,secondly i can control costs in building and just take my time with it,thanks for the pics anyway Higgins I think as has been said before if you get a van you can pick a caravan up for next to nothing and strip it out and use the bits sell the alloy and use the chassis for a trailer. We wanted on old caravan for our shootin

  12. Sorry to hear your trouble pal,it seems we live in an anti dog world nowadays, all the other irresponsible dog owners letting theirs out loose, cause us to keep our dogs in lest we get the blame for anything. When i take the dogs out i drive far out of the way rather than walk them near my own house, although they have the run of the garden i still have to bring them inside if they start to bark at anything passing thbrough the ginnel at the side of our house.Hope you find a way round it,good luck, Higgins
  13. After a recent trip to the Lakes my car broke down on the M6 and had to be scrapped so i'm looking for a replacement vehicle.I am interested in a campervan for a change or some sort of estate car like a volvo, are there any campervan enthusiasts out there who could put some pics up of theirs, particularly van conversions of DIY nature, and any tips at all on what types to get, thanks, Higgins.

  15. i reckon Stan being a Cumbrian or Lancastrian living in that part of the country might have got into hunting ,maybe with terriers if he hadn't gone into showbusiness, that's why i find the pic interesting so i took a photo of it, Higgins.
  16. While i was in Morecambe,i went to visit the Laurel and Hardy museum as part of day out to Ulverston.Inside there were some items of furniture recovered from Stan Laurel's birth home before the house was to be modernised.I was fascinated to see a framed photograph of an old man with what appears to be a double barrelled shotgun.Does anyone know who hbe might be?Was there any relatives of his that did shooting or hunting? If it helps,i think the real surname of Stan Laurel was Jefferson and hbis father was called Arthur i think so could this be a pic of his grandfather i wonder?
