    What's happening with the weather? we have had week's of Rain, fields are sodden dont dare go near them with 4x4 just incase they get turn them up and make the farmer mad! now we have had Pea Soup fog for the past 3 day's when is it going to give us a break? the only good point about it i can catch up and get more ammo rolled, but cannot get out to try new loads just rolled some 110gr, v-max for my .270, i use 140gr ballistic tips and get very good results, but would like to drop down to 110grs, Hows the Weather were you are especially in Scotland?

    Nice to know the farmer appreciates your doing a good job, have not been able to get out up my way its like PEA SOUP and has been for 3days now, bloody weather.

    yeah mate, i am, why you askin? I am over the water from you {Greenock} just shoot the rabbits, use to go ferreting years ago getting to old now to jump about after them, but have some very good memory's o to be young again LOL.

    Sounded like a good night out! the weather over here has been PEA SOUP for the past two days, and cannot wait for it to clear up, then i will get out and give "Charlie" a bit of a blast, and hopefully say "Hi" to a few Roe's.

    If this helps mate this is one of my targets shot at 100yards with my .270 with 140gr ballistic tips, if you can try one out you will like it, i use mine for everything, if you wish send me a pm, hope this helps you out.

    Hi Shaun, dont want to burst your bubble mate but i know a chap who had his firearm cert taken from him because he was convicted with drink driving offences and the letter said he was not a competant person in the eye's of the law to handle firearms, dont know if this will still apply now as this was over 15 years ago but i believe it may be even more strict now, this was in the Glasgow area, good luck mate.

    Hi Guy's i shoot .270 and never had a problem with meat damage, homeload 140gr balistic tip, neck shots but its up to you, can only say myself i have had no problems, bought 100 vmax 110gr heads going to give them a go, best of luck mate what ever you buy, they will still be someone say'n you should have bought bla bla bla good luck..

    I use to work for SSPCA Glasgow branch a few years ago[20+} and know what you mean about funds getting siphoned. As being a Pest Control Technician now i have done fox control in school's & bowling green's all over the city of Glasgow and surrounding area's with no problem's at all, and the police are very helpfull, everything done all above board, trapping&shooting what ever was needed to resolve the problem.
