  1. Slowly does it from tree to tree, it is also a good method for controlling squirrels you need to go 2 handed for them though, get your mate to shake the trees which hold the dreys and the squirrels come jumping out and with them being diurnal they night vision is not too good and they just sit there waiting to be popped of,im not 100% but it could be illigal to shoot pheasant and other game birds at night so you had best steer clear of them unless some one can clear it up on here,my main aim when shooting at night is vermin species.
  2. I know where you are coming from,i payed 12k for a 2yr old one a while back with 28k on the clock..it was never hammered and serviced every 6k miles..when it hit 90k on the clock the engine went bang, nissan where total wankers and because i did not keep my service history up with the rip of pricks they said it was my fault, , after endless emails i got no further foward and had to bite the bullet and sell it for £2500, ,the lads who bought it said they where making a living out of repairing them as they is that many going bang,my only advice to anyone who owns one IS get the bottom end beef
  3. Your normal day time scopes are more than capable of picking them out in the dark, the knack to it is go out on the lighter blustery night prefarably with a pink night sky,the use of artificial light is not needed and is illegal, torch light is only used to find what has been shot.
  4. Amazing stuff thanks for sticking the link up, i could not get away from the moniter once i started watching that, them old guys are propper old hands and doing it the traditional way, shame we cant do it over here.
  5. Very impressive.. , i would of thought 90+ grain bullets from a .243 would be more than adequate for cleanly dropping those beasties.
  6. I had a sharp innova some years back that done that and it had me baffled, after every other shot it would sling a pellet out by about 6in,the scopes where fine as they had not be badly knocked,i finaley narrowed it down to a out of line silencer.
  7. The simple answer to that mate is silhouette.
  8. I cant wait for the leaves to fall so i can get out and do a bit of roost shooting without a light..does anyone else on here like a bit of shooting in the dark.. .. Millet
  9. Awsome gesture, ,lets hope it can be repaired so this good will gesture is not wasted.
  10. 17hmr too loud for my liking but the bullet flies to pieces on impact so tree shot's should not be a worry, a 12ftlb + air weapon should be the same as far as firing into tree's goes. A .22lr is a deffinate no no as far as tree shot's go as them big lumps of lead bounce all over the place even if you hit your target they come out and wizz all over, but as far as ground shot game goes a .22 rimmy will take some beating, they are quiet and deadly.
  11. You wont go far wrong with one of these, i bought one a while back and ive had quite a few rabbits using it with the lurcher, they take 4x AA batteries which are supplied when you buy one and they seem to last forever.

    Hare

What a crock of s.h.i.t mate whoopy fecking doo you shot a hare, whats the big deal if you went out for rabbits,im sure anyone on here would of took the shot at anything on the legal list if it was in range,im sure i would of, for instance say i was out shooting wooodies and a rat appeared should i leave it because i was out for pigeon.. or if i was out shooting rabbits and a crow appeared should i leave it.. and so on. Good shooting mate straight through the sweed.. .. and you dont have to explain anything to anyone feck the doubters and keep at it,as for eating it  they taste li
  14. Let it get past the advert
  15. Some one on my wave length i see.. .. i was in the low classes at school and always bottom of my dunce class, maybe thats why some of the more educated folk can not see any light hearted banter in my replies.
  16. I would do it for a tenner or a egg.. ..not sure on that hight but my best is around 300ft harnessed and 120ft unharnessed (not clever or big)..a work mate of mine fell 30ft and smashed his face in and died instant ..not nice but the hight is only psychological, you can fall 6ft and be brown bread. That fellow on that tower is on a sliding saftey line all the way near the top which is a waste of time really if you are going to take it of at the top.. .. Good bit of footage though and i would not mind taking some of these polish immigrants up there and saying they is load's of fish up ther
  17. My ex had no stamina once the deed was done in bed after 1 minute a roll over and good night was all i could get.
  18. No hard feelings taken zini.. ..but if you actually took that or any of my posts serious.. ..you need to get out a socialize a bit more..as far as darcey's comment goes i find the original weihrauch springs to be more than adequate.
  19. Theres a few old trout on here, just sling a few PM's to them and im sure they will ablige.
  20. Na you want one of them ox main jobbies..get a pall to give you a hand and stretch it a bit more..hard as feck to get back in the rifle and boy do them put them pellets out nice..and you will also have the added bonus of been able to use it as a jack hammer.
  21. Feck me she is a lump matey..im depressed to feck here as im well and truely skint and i cant pull the bird till im flush..i will pull safe soon though then the killing will begin..
