  1. Jasper you can do anything with a camera TO MAKE thing look good for you, some times we make birds look bigger with camera tricks and sometimes we hold birds on kills or on the glove with kills that the bird really did not KILL, i dont see the point in it myself as people who do these silly things are only lying to themselfs.
  2. He is well pleased and said it is nice to see some one sensible for a change instead of bull crapping liers, that looks a sensible imprint you have there and a good day out by the look of things. Regards LR
  3. Its not a sparrow hawk Jasper, dont quote me on this but i think it is a hybrid from a 4lb 16oz.. female finnish gos to a 6oz Musket.
  4. Fooking hell mate i wish i was closer i have a freezer full of ferreted ones and Moll has a double chest freezer full of dogged ones.
  5. I find a left and a right on woodcock and snipe can be a little challenging.
  6. He is happy with them and says it was nice talking to you,at first he thought they where going to be a little bit low but as you can see from the picture i have been sent they are spot on and ideal for moving around the garden, and it saves the hassle of having to keep unpegging the bows out of the weatherings. Regards LR
  7. How long is a piece of string, does he fill it from empty/ 1/4 empty/ 1/2 empty/ 3/4 empty, I fill my Air arms to 160bar when it hits the 100bar mark i have filled it of the same 12ltr 300bar bottle for the past 3yrs and im yet to have it topped up yet, going of the manufacturers info the bottle should of been filled up a dozen times by now.. Before this bottle i had a 232 bar bottle that was on 200bar when i bought it, i filled the gun for a season and a half and it was hammered with thousands of pellets going through it,i only sold it and bought another as it was behond test and would no
  8. I would belive all you say is spot on apart from the water bit if it was going to explode a bit of water would not stop serios damage, the water is to keep the bottle cool as the oxygen that is being compressed gets realy hot,the last bottle i got filled was boiling hot so im sure the cold water kept the temp down for a correct psi/bar reading after the fill, i totaly 100% agree with you on the micro bore filling pipe, .
  9. Someone has seriously been telling porky pies to you. .
  10. What is the measurement from the mid top to bottom?, if the measurement is right for the bird my mates friend will give you a ton for the two of them tomorrow, he would of payed your asking price but he has to travel from northumberland so fuel is a issue. Atb LR
  11. thats not the best of comments to come out with, its just aswell they dont do arsehole patrols otherwise you would be up shit creek.
  12. That was a good night out by the look of things and that big plummer looks in perfect condition .
  13. Fair enough, we are all entitled to our opinions, my opinion is from experience with 2 individual opinel knives and i had the same trouble i have mentioned with the two of them, these are my favourites to date but im not sure if they make the super swede any more, they have a good strong blade which is easy to sharpen and holds its edge for a long time they are ideal for gutting and skinning anything from a bunny to a deer, the folding stanly knife is only realy good for gutting but a single blade lasts forever and they are easily changed, and neither of the two blades i prefer over the cheaper o
  14. I bought one year's ago and the best thing i ever did was bin it, if they get claret or water on them they are fooked as the handle swells and i nightmare to open, if you need a blade for gutting a stanley blade will take some beating.

Hawks are a litte differant to budgies and canaries so they need no secure flights unless moulting or ill.. I have copied this link for you, but if you are really keen you will do a little research yourself. http://www.themodernapprentice.com/mews.htm
  16. The help you have been given was invaluable by many members, especialy from experinced dog owners like Moll and many others, but i see there help and time been very much wasted by you not explaining the correct situation to start with.
  17. Could you not knock several drop boxes up and stick them along the fence line, it would mean you sticking some rabbit netting up in the area the drop boxes will be used but they are pretty effective and you could go at night by torch light to empty them.. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/96170-rabbit-drop-boxes/
  18. Now that goes to show how nieve you realy are.. ..wank stain.

  21. Hey wank stain why the fook would i want to put any hunting pics or stories up on the most watched hunting site on the net.. .. Now go away wank stain mummy will be up soon, dont let her catch you wanking or watching illicit films.
  22. Silenced scatter guns are quieter around the .410 decibel mark..like a little pop if you are upwind of them but down wind .410 noise. for the best results in quietness you need to be using around 28gram cartridges or less, but you will suffer with the distance shot's and im not 100% on this but you can only get a single barrel silenced scatter gun.. Im thinking you will be better of with a rimmy or air rifle for them troublsome bunnies and after a few stake outs you might get a few but they will sharp become wise to it.your best bet on that area is dig your heels in and crack on with the ferr
  23. At last someone with a little bit of common sense.. .. i would also not be using a scatter gun around horses/cottages/houses or other area's where livestock could be spooked by the noise, that is where the silenced PCP or springer comes in handy and i would prefarably keep it sub FAC as it would cause less damage to any farm buildings or machinery that happens to be accidently hit.. At the end of the day like i have mentioned from my experiences both scatter guns and air weapons have there pro's and con's...and Olim you little wank stain go play with your little baldie nob in your bedroom be
