  2. hi.yeah i started a vitara project over 7 months ago,i dinked the back end and it looked a mess so my friend who is a blacksmith said we should turn it into a pick up for my hunting etc....unfortunately its been sat in his workshop for months with no work done as he is just too busy, brilliant little cars, great fun to tear around in...we got as far as cutting all the templates for the bulkhead, the custom roll cage is fitted and in place, all the back is cut out ready and where the old pillars were also have blanking plates cut ready....all that needs doing now is getting it all welded in place a

  4. Hi all..i am relatively new to shooting,on and off for years but seriously getting into it all now,i have plenty of woodland with quite dense cover and lots of hedgerows to roam around on, i am looking for a decent dog for flushing/retrieving....preferably a spaniel but will consider anything, and also would be better part trained if not fully on the case,i know its a long shot but can guarantee a good home and im on a tight budget....i have been advised by friends to sit tight for the right part trained dog rather than go for a pup and have all the hassle of training etc....i can kennel or hou
  5. hi guys,i have started a project on my 95 vitara converting from hard top to pick up....its a fully functioning motor and still approx 5 months mot....reliable as ever starts when completely buried under 2ft of snow and ploughs thru it....it has a new roll cage fitted (project undertaken by my blacksmith mate)..welds and fittings are top quality and strength guaranteed....the steel bulk head is all cut to shape and ready to be welded in place, the guy has so much work on i just cant pressure him into getting it completed......its had loads of materials added and comes with....albeit not welded
  6. i have a suzuki vitara almost finished project....it was a 95 l reg hard top....gutted it out.....cut the back off, roll cage fitted, the bulk head is now cut to shape and ready to be welded...the car itself is an awesome reliable car,not yet been properly offroaded but got us thru wet fields and lots of snow, its done 114 000 miles and still has roughly 5-6 months mot.(no tax)....i am looking for a tidy van for work so maybe interested in a swap of some description.any good??....i am in the southwest tho.
  7. hahah good shout geoffer. you are correct on the "time" situation of course......hence me asking about part trained dogs,i do have "some" time just not quite as much as id like....
  8. Hi folks.....i am fortunate enough now to have a fair amount of land to shoot on..lots of woodland and a 500 acre farm with lots of hedgerows....i have a plummer terrier that i bought for ratting but as daft as it sounds there just isnt any quality ratting around here anymore..farmers are always saying they have loads but when you get there mob handed with pack of dogs, smokers etc theres the odd one...i feel my terrier isnt getting the work he craves....as does happen i have naturally moved on to rough shoots and pigeon shooting...i have tried to use my plummer as much as poss for flushing but
