  5. A real cracking looking dog there,I like the look of the Irish terrier drfinatly the best looking of the Irish breeds.......but probably not the gamest jmo.
  6. Ime no shrinking violet mate but to take a picture of your dead pup is a bit strong......probably best removed. You have to put this bad episode behing you mate and carry on.
  7. I dont think he has wriiten a single book.........an occasional chapter may be his but most of the books are full of other peoples dogs, experiances and knowledge.... :11:
  8. I use a piece of rope threaded under the collar as a slip ,less chance of accidental slips than with those made for the job coursing types.......have had dogs killed on roads,by hitting machinary or posts have had them smash legs and shoulers......but never had a problem with collars.

Your still alive then kye we thought perhaps that choclate dog had got you cornered in the kennel :11:
  10. The spit of R2s dog even got the same dock :11: A lot of that type in old photos, with fashion and showing they seem to be getting rarer and rarer.
  11. Rabbits behave totaly differently to a smoker.....rats will bolt rabbits would rather die than bolt with all that noise .....JMo
  12. Hancock might be a pedling twat...........but I have seen quite a few of his breeding that were more than handy dogs.
  13. Cant you get hold of anybody who has a lurcher that is used to the terrier game....it would definatly help when trying to find your lost dog........good luck.
  14. Glad to hear it..............if only the terriers had a chance aswell :11:
  15. Pure greyhound, otherwise eventualy you will have nothing but bitsa rubbish.
  16. A young woman lamping on your own perhaps a German shepherd x,
  17. not no chav :11: You know the lingo.
  18. The lowest of the low target the youngest and oldest. A speedy recovery to your father and I hope I have as much back bone if I reach that age.
  19. deal dogs will come the peddlers,so my guess is 5 year from now they wont be worth a bolt,,, No mate the irish put wheaten into the bull to make them more gainer and keener that is where the irish staff originate from (wheaten and staff bulls) that is the old type the old irish poachers dog to guard them if got into trouble. they dont no much do they asy a oid irish man  No mate the irish put wheaten into the bull to make them more gainer and keener that is where the irish staff originate from (wheaten and staff bulls) that is the old type the old irish poachers
  20. The most simple thing to do is buy a pup from parents that were doing the job before the change in law. I would of thought a reasonably well bred bull grey saluki grey should be doing whatever is asked of it if your happy with what you have get another like it.
  21. 1sr xs.Wheaten generaly more versatile but when you want a terrier mans lurcher nothing comes close to a good bullx its not only gameness that makes the x but the power and bulk.JMO.

    me anti?

For some one who always claims not to give a f**k your a very deffensive person fellman,....Ime sure you have been called worse :11:
  23. Thats quite a statement saying that if a saluki is brought right there nothing to beat it at lamped rabits you need to stay of the sauce mate.... ive seen salukis struggle to put a turn on a rabbit that a whippet would of hoovered up but that whippet maybe couldnt kill hares ...take of the saluki coloured glasses mate not once have I said salukis were bad in fact my deerhound is due pups this weekend & the dog is made up of a lot of saluki blood but the point of the thread was salukis & deer & no one realy doubted saluki crosses at catching deer (pre ban) but for you to say could
  24. Foxes when realy pushed may be forced to take refuge in a rabbit warren........generaly they dont get very far but a terrier trying to follow that fox may well get stuck.........every year lots of pet terriers go to ground in rabbit warrens and yes some do get stuck. Most working terriers have more sense or experiance than to try and go down rabbit holes all the time.JMO.
