  8. I wont run a dog on a frosty night.Ide rather wait for a half decent night and have a chance of a better bag frosty nights as well as being hard on a dogs feet are frustrating for the dog and owner.1 frosty night since the beggining of september if people have been running there dogs hard since the season started the dog would apreciate and benefit from a rest probably a lot of bullshitters trying to look like the real deal all the real deals I know will take the oppurtunity of hard frosty ground to rest a dog. What the f**k have you been doing the last couple of months?waiting for a frost
  9. Iw was either -5 or it wasnt when you make your mind up what the conditions were let me know
  10. I wouldnt think it would be worth risking a dogs legs on frozen ground for a rabbit or 2.
  11. I dont think there are many serious diggers that are overly happy with wooden handles.JMO.
  12. Make any type of journey through rural sussex surrey or hampshire,if you dont see a deer its because you have your eyes shut.
  13. IMHO for a running dog a small dash of Bull should be plenty, lots of lurchers kill a lot of foxes and these dogs have no bull blood at all.The only time more than a 1/4 bull comes in handy is for working with terriers.I could forgive a Bullx missing foxes through lack of speed but one that misses through lack of bottle is only good for one thing a one way walk.1/4 Bull lurchers that lack bottle should not be bred from simple.JMO.

    My mutt collection

Very nice,I dont know a great deal about genes but the saluki seems to come through strongly in the lurchers.
  15. The KC cannot force anyone to breed useless malformed puppies for money, people manage to do that all by themselves.

  17. start yanking a young dog about on a clothes line or hitting it and will truely f**k this young dog up.Patience perseverence and walking it alone away from other dogs could help.If your short on patience by an adult trained dog.jmo
  18. Why dont you say something that brings a tiny bit of credibility to yourself instead of snide comments not worth a wank .Pathetic. It was a serious comment 2 lurchers have more chance of putting a fox to ground than one. Or is that a bit to complicated for you
  19. If your that worried get another good lurcher that isnt afraid of cover that should hopefully put a few more to ground for you.
  20. The most difficult foxes Ive dug has had more to do with the earth than the fox a fox up a tight winding tube is a bit different to one in a roomy straight pipe.
  21. I like a longer tail on a dog Ime not a great show fan but to spoil such a simple thing as a dock . To short a dock can spoil a generaly good looking dog
  22. I would take just the 1 stud dog and 3 bitches.
