    At 5 weeks I get the kits used to water 6 weeks I then take the jill away for a few days normally about four days then reunite them and let the rest of the jills meet them to then when they leave there fully weened and very used to other ferrets ,

    Yes she's putting it in for the kits , this is what you should be doing 3 weeks on kits need meat

    Better off culled at a few days old than filling a ferret rescue centre IMO.. You hardly ever heard of outbreaks of disease in ferrets when there wasn't these rescue centres everywhere with large numbers of ferrets being kept in close proximity to each other. It ain't healthy.. To true malt ,

    I do hope you are making light of the situation and are not serious about 'knocking on the head'. They deserve a chance at life too. I like ferrets and I have been involved with them for many years , some of these years were before mixi was about, then there was ten times more rabbits than there are about today and a lot more people chasing them also , I those days I do not recall a glut of ferrets every year in fact you had to look hard for them and lots of people had to buy them from the EAM , why was this ?? I think it was because most lads went out with their dads or in my case grandda

    Bolted a frog once countles rats , had a good day back end of season actually bolted rabbits : ) on a ditch was a nice way to end the season no it made my season 21 rabbits from a ditch was in heaven ,

    I cant see why that wouldn't work. If you had a net sack attached instead of a full length bolt trap I suppose you could kill the rabbits without removing the trap from the hole.

    It would take some going on this bank I soon lost a 100 yards of longnet and fifty purse nets and barely covered anything , can't be shot , can't be lamped as it's all devided up with electic wire dog would throttle itself there aren't Many options , it's a horse sanctuary so sneaking about with pugs is the only go'er , not that many rabbits rhd is rife round here ,

    Well I went to have a look at a new spot , they wanted them thinning out so I thought I'd do a few easy warrens . : / well there weren't any feckin huge endless sandy banks with masses of stingers , couldn't make head nor tale so that was that one rabbit to show . Ah well at least it's in the bag for the season and 60 acres to .

    Its a lot easier if you know the ground well as the rabbits usually run the same way to the next warren ,
