Light drizzle out tonight ???? Might go anyway haven't been out for rabbits since first week of march I'm itching to feel fur in my fingers again . Is it a case of not putting the lamp on till the nets in position then just hoping there out once I'm behind them presuming they are there ???

They are coming on from two sides . I walked the perimeter last winter but could not find any warrens so there travelling to get there .

What time do you all go at night ??? Do the rabbits venture further out the later it gets ??? I have as spot cricket pitch and I know there more or less going right out at night , feels a good night tonight for a bash ,

Nope they get dragged about deeper and deeper into a warren and by the time you've dug the rabbits dragged it off again : /

As said first time out nowt to loose its about being out , first times out a ferret just going to ground is a buzz cold frosty crip mornings a rabbit in the nets well that's about it , -
The thing is not to let them have the upper hand even with handling , once they know your a soft touch you've had it ,

On a friends permission there's a conifer plantation , in the dead of winter you bolt rabbits of all sizes and dig to nests , when its butting wind and frost on the fields and hedges under there it's warm as toast ,

If the vet keeps giving your number then ask him to have a look at them to, for nowt of course,
