  1. Fair play, what a cracking litter! I'd happily give a home to every dog in that litter - I think you should do a repeat mating next year so I can have one..........?? Phil
  2. Absolute belter! Is it a dog or bitch and can I have him/her please? ?
  3. Jake is long gone unfortunately but was about 22.5". Ed is very much alive and kicking and is a really busy, robust little dog standing about 21.5" l do love a beddy cross fair play.
  4. Jake - Beddy/Grey/collie/whippet hybrid. Ed - Three quarter whippet/quarter beddy
  5. Cheers lads, picked up a pair of grade 1 altbergs for £39 delivered ?
  6. Afternoon all, can anyone recommend a decent army surplus supplier please? I'm looking for a cheap pair of boots and don't want to spend big money as I only need them to last this winter. Many thanks in advance for any replies ?
  7. Yeah the 8 played against my boys team (Blaenavon), he's certainly a very strong ball carrier but will probably need to work on his fitness if he wants to go further . My boy's 19 as well - his best position is 7 but he played 6 against you - look forward to having a chat at the return fixture .
  8. Good win today butt - watched you earlier in the season, very good side - ginormous forwards........
  9. Fair play to you for sticking with him butt, some would have moved him on by now without giving him the opportunity to develop at his own pace. It boils my piss when people expect their dog to be be the finished article by 15 months or so. I wouldn't mind betting that he turns out to be one of your best ever...
  10. I've had excellent results using honey on wire rips, smear it on the wound 2 or 3 times a day, leave it on for 20 mins or so then let the dog lick it off. I'm in the middle of healing a wound that's larger than that and it's coming on a treat
  11. hi di hi camp with ted bovis on the right Llanhiileth 2nds if I'm not mistaken jon - I'm not in that photo as I only played for the first team . Bumped into Gwynfor the other day - he hasn't changed a bit
  12. No f*****g chance.. You'll be in love with the game yourself after going to a Wales/Scotland match and the all day drinking that goes with it! Imagine the best part of 100,000 or more Wales and Scotland fans drinking together, singing each others songs and having the craic in the pubs, streets and stadiums all day and late into the night.. It's not just the ticket holding fans who join in, thousands of fans travel up and down just to enjoy the atmosphere. is it like that when they play england.......... The banter is a little bit more "intense" but it's still a good day out, m
  13. Here's two of my best, both unfortunately are no longer with us . They were bred worker to worker for 20 odd years or so and were a mixture of Whippet, Grey, Collie and Beddy with a touch of Lab from way back. They were litter brother and sister with the dog broken coated and a touch under 23" and the bitch smooth coated and a touch over 18". The bitch especially had unlimited stamina and a massive prey drive but was very hard mouthed - definately not world beaters but I had countless hours of fun mooching around the mountains with these two.............
  14. Arya looks absolutely gorgeous butt, thank f**k she's taken after Rachel . There'll be a pint behind the bar at the rugby club with your name on it......... Phil
  15. Allright John, is Rachel having a boy, girl or litter of collie crosses?
  16. What height would you expect the pup to make please mate?
  17. John, you're slipping butt - there was a red kites nest 15 mins walk from your house last year, laid two eggs, one hatched but didn't survive one of the many storms we had last summer! Also saw a peregrine take a racing pigeon above the park a couple of years ago......
  18. Snowing here in sunny Blaenau Gwent
  19. Allright Ade, yes mate he's involved in the Dragons age grade set up, to be honest hadn't thought about the sponsorship thing, I'll mention it to the Team Manager and see if anything happens . Thanks for all the other replies regarding supplements - I've just found out that one of the Dragons senior squad members is a trained pharmacist and runs his own supplement business so there should be some discounts to be had there hopefully . The Sun Valley factory shop in Hereford sounds a real goer as well as Hereford is not a million miles from me. Cheers boys & girls
  20. Cheers mate, he is eating a high carb/ protein diet and recovery shakes to supplement his diet. He's just eating so much of everything at the moment that I think i'll have to get a second job just to feed him , hence why I was hoping to source a cheap supply of poultry. As I said earlier though, I'd be happy to have him adopted , with a bit of luck the missus might go with him as well
