  11. Cracking read mate. This day was a few years aga now pre-ban obviously. Me and two others had organised a day out onto a huge tract of wasteland that Holds all sorts. This bit of landis mainly rush beds brambles and old gravel pits that go down into an arrow head. Roe muntjac fox rabbits hares and game birds all litter this land but the dogs have to work hard for there catches. I had my 3/8 5/8th bull greyhound and a terrier. Tayo had his strong powerfull saluki/greyhound bitch "bess". This bitch started her days killing hares but turnt out to be pretty handy at dropping roe and muntjac a
  12. yeah i know a few that do that..sounding where it is..i think that an attribute tbh..if it enters cover at night will it still yap? or do u not hit cover much at night? The dog in question is a big built powerful animal and if his quarry out performs him he sometimes let's out a yap in frustration and if it hits cover and he can't get to it will also yap. It doesnt bother me really he's a handy dog and is pretty much indestructible. Atb
  13. Yes a yapper can still put stuff in the bag. I have one here that yaps in cover it's quite handy really.
  14. Sounds like the dog has learnt if it hunts up the lamp soon gets put on more quarry. Had a dog the same thought it was deaf until someone pointed it out. If the dogs hunting up keep the lamp of until it's returned.
