  1. your insurance company took the piss out of you. of course your car is insured on private property, the roads are technically private property, belonging to the government. your car needs to be insured to be on private property if its in a public place. shopping car park, garage forecourt etc. unless you own the property.
  2. Ireland is Irish but NORTHERN IRELAND is British .. No its not. Its part of the united kingdom (of great britain and northern ireland) and part of the british isles, but its not BRITISH, please get your facts right before you try correcting someone with your shit/pretend facts.
  3. The deben lithium ion batteries are worth the money. If you are using the lamp a few nights a week you get your moneys worth. 20ah lithium, and 140 & 170 variable lightforce. Unbeatable setup.
  4. as i told you in 1st reply, its the piston rings. oil in the top of the engine/exhaust ports doesn't have any other way of getting there. The piston rings and oil ring keep the oil in the sump, unless they are fuked.
  5. sounds more like it needs piston rings.
  6. Certainly isn't a stupid question, however it goes give some stupid answers.
  7. your engine should be 3.9 efi, with approx 185 bhp when new a 300tdi will fit onto your autobox with a 300tdi bellhousing. but in comparision to jap engines the lr tdi engines are unrefined. and only 111bhp. m&d engineering do conversion plates. the mazda 3.5td v6 is a very nice conversion, but not too easily sourced. you need comparable bhp and torque figures if you ever want to enjoy driving the rr again
  8. its an absolute no brainer, if you answer a question like that, with your opinion you haven't been using your brain. it is a comprehension test, not a guessing question, you failed
  9. that boy rich is a fucktard. marty is an unlucky hoor old tom seems well clued up and interesting charlie is useless/handless cabbage eustas is a flower power living a "sustainable life" that isn't sustainable lol. but they all seem to enjoy doing it

  11. Pour petrol on the vinyl and set on fire.

    Rte

    Yeah rte is on sky.
  14. I have a cz452 style in 17 hmr with 16" barrel, sak mod and a small bipod. I think it is the ultimate mooching rifle, fox out to 100yrds, and rabbits, crows and magpies out to 150yrds. BUT as sure as shit on a goat it ain't a fox rifle (223) nor is it the go to rifle for a big night on the rabbits (can't beat subs in 22lr), but its perfect for a mixed bag of fun.
  15. have a look at the rabbiting dog post, 103 pages, and plenty to read about
  16. depends where you are planning on buying the tools. not all similar looking and even similar speced tools are the same. dewalt is top gear as long as its not bought from big chain diy type places such as b&q or screwfix as they spec shite. i'd be looking at makita if i wanted all that gear for under a grand.
  17. i looked at a house recently, it had a converted attic. the conversion was basically a hunters area. taxidermy everywhere and work tables covered in hornady, remington and sierra stickers, which was obviously a reloading area.
  18. How can you find the quickest over a three minute course ........................... surely they will all do it in, errrr, three minutes ? Your not the quickest I see. The time will be the same, but distance travelled and turn of speed will be different. As will the outcome of said course.
  19. Use castrol engine oil selection. Just Google it. Enter your vrn or make and model.
  20. Quickest of the mark? Quickest to 100yrds? Quickest over a 3 minute course? Quickest to catch a lure? Or quickest to run into a field and drop its arse for a shit?
  21. i've had 7 or 8 landies, 2 which i totally rebuilt from scratch up. to say that you can abuse a standard landy off road without damage is just wishful thinking. although i think a lot of peoples idea of "abusing offroad" falls way short of what i mean. ashcroft makes a good living selling uprated parts to cope with strains of off roading. from half shafts to transfer boxs
  22. that is utter shit. GOOD parts for bland rovers are the same price as jap trucks. however cheap nasty britpart etc is cheap and crap. the probably be doing more fixing, is 100% correct. and most of them go dingaling when their driving down the road haha again this is utter shit. when was the last time you seen a series land rover all original? around 1984 is my guess. they are like triggers brush, 10 new heads and 6 new shafts. new chassis, axles, engine, gearbox and doors, but its still the same old 1971 series 2!!!!
