No they are a Kill trap and they are very good at it -
I was given some birds last week and I have been dressing two brace a day , this morning while I was plucking the first bird I caught my hand on something , when I had finished plucking I found it had been impaled by a twig that was freshly broken , there was no shot in the bird so it must have been a runner .

I prefer a Body Grip in a box Pea Nuts are as good as anything , it's not hard they are very easy to catch -
