I had the same problem. I thought the forum was down but when I went away to Saudi I could get on no problem. IanB sorted it out for me very quickly which was very much appreciated.

I saw a video possible by Mark Gilcrest where he left his rabbits in salted cold water (with a tap dripping in to the basin) overnight. If I remember correctly he said this would get the remains of the blood out of the rabbit. Wonder if the same technique would make hare more palatable?

I had some hare pate, it was very nice but quite strong.

Inspector should have passed it on to the transport cops, he exacerbated the problem by talking so loudly and drawing the other passengers in to the situation. He did keep loudly proclaiming that he was getting paid but it would be the other passengers that would suffer by being late that no doubt caused the dirty harry moment. He should have been more competent to deal with this situation and it wasn't the other guy's business. If he'd been verbally abusive or threatening then I would have agreed with chucking him head first off the train.

As an older bother I can relate to this! My little brother even got put on my dad insurance the little tw&t. I got a bigtrak once which I wanted so much but was sh*t. Generally I got stuff like a camera or binoculars...the kind of stuff u didn't want but actually u used more than a toy

Well put. My missus does my head and panders to the kids (we've got a 19 year old and a 5 year old). been through the argos list thing but the wife almost seems to encourage that?! I'm the same as you and have the same memories asked for the 'cool toys' and got a pair of binoculars LOL. Christmas should be about giving not receiving in my opinion but it's like swimming against the tide. Not even fussed about what they get me because if I want something I will buy it myself but I get a lot of pleasure receiving a present that someone put a lot of though into....hardly ever happens though!

Gold's been tanking the last couple of months as will all the other commodities if the world goes into full blown recession next year which it probably will. I'd pile any spare cash into my mortgage...at least having a roof over your head is something

Couldn't agree more....one thing is for sure democracy in those 17 countries is fading away. I don't think Cameron has won anything listen to Nigel Farage here. Now he has no bargaining chips left. No chance to repatriate powers left.

Nice pics, I lived near Camborne for a year while I went to the mining college, got some fond memories of Cornwall but none of catching fish. I did break my Dads rod though he wasn't impressed

I know a polish lad who makes a good wage finding war relics from piles of german helmets to a german motor bike and side car! Bet a fair few people doing that have lost arms and legs or have vanished off the face of the earth I was having a bit of a dig round some old German bunkers near Bordeaux and found a full clip of K98 ammunition and tonnes of shrapnel and stuff.
