    Not sure which way round it is but I think the media stir up hysteria about all kinds of stuff depending on the flavour of the week. If I was in to conspiracies I would say its a great way to control the masses They instil (deliberately or not) fear of everything in to people, these days people don't wany their kids playing out, scared of roads, scared of dogs, scared of guns, scared of muslims even If people are scared they stay inside

    think thats already happened....most people have no idea hunting with dogs is still legal. I can see this happening also. Biggest problem in my opinion is all the different organisations for shooting, fishing, countryside persuits seem to work against each other....e.e.g the fishermen keep their heads down while the shooters are taking the flack, the shooters doing the same while the dog people get shafted and on and on.. We need organisations to support each other

    More and more legislation. More expensive! The nail in the coffin for the kids coming up will be 'society' or so called education where they are encouraged less and less to go outside awway from the teet of the TV/PS3 where everything is safe.

    Yeh I've not got fibre optic but I've got a mid rib bead which makes me want to line the two up and shoot like a rifle. I was always tought to not look at the barrel of the gun but to look at the target.

    How true...it makes my blood boil. They are taking away a vital link in the development of young people by letting foreigners do these low paid jobs. When I was a kid you left school/college and then got a sh*t job. You hated it and the employer probably hated you as well but it tought about work and made you to try for soemthing better. Now kids don't get those first jobs that give them that experience. Even in the boom years youth unemployment rose by 200k. It is shameful that the political elite have sold the kids of britain down the river like this! Anyway back on topic....the

    novice speaking here Couple fo things I've done, the first was to refuse to throw his ball or dummy until he gave it to me. I did this in the garden where there were no distractions. If he dropped in on the floor I would just take a few steps backwards and tell him to bring it back to me again until it ended up in my hand, the other thing was walk away as he was retrieving like mooch said he got next to me I gently take the dummy from him. I think soemtime if it looks like we're snatching from them they don't want to give it up.

    Did you just breast/crown it? Is there much meat on the rest of the bird? With pidgeon I just take the breast and bin the rest. What a bit surprised how much they smell as well lol

    just out of interest how much is a farm with outbuildings and 7.5acres. to bloody much, the house is in need of total revamp due to some twats breaking in and ripping all pipes and lead up, but just lets say i wont have much change left from £200k And thats very cheap, a place just down the road from me with 6.5 acres, bungalow and 2 poly tunnels sold for over £600k. We gave up looking for a place to live on with land just silly money round here, we just brought a 4 acre field 2 miles down the road 7 years ago and started from there, keep sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, bees.

    ur having a laugh now Lol No mate when the local chink knows who you are just from the initial "hello" when you ring up you know you've got a problem!!! Me and her are f*****g useless in the kitchen and lived on takeaways but these things are a piece of piss. So far we've had curry, stew, spaghetti bolognese, cottage pie and a few other bits and bobs, the only trouble we've had is that things have been a bit watery we're not sure how to thicken them up?? Use a roux to thicken your gravey/sauces

    After how long? That doesn't sound right, if anything I find they're too soft. The last stew/casserol (whats the difference??) I made I left going for 6 or 7 hours. Was dead easy, I just browned the meat and chucked everything in.

    If you think that is bad, when I wrote to my MP (leftist freak) about the repeal she replied about all hunting with dogs was banned and the public was behind it blah blah....She doesn't even know the legislation!
