  3. very nice mate, however I cant believe some people are still using the MK1 cylinders....get yourself a quickfill cylinder mate ;-)
  4. what some people dont take into account is the time that some of us "airgun geeks" spend researching, pellets, rifles trajectories and then putting it into the field in hundreds of hours of practice on both HFT targets and paper ones to hone the skills we have. The saying "Practice makes you perfect".....it doesnt.....it only makes you better!! Darryl

  10. So you never tested any other pellets other than Air Arms?? If I were you I'd try a few more different brands at groupings on a plain piece of paper and see what groups the tightest. Darryl
  11. Have you got a silencer fitted? If so try with it off Darryl
  12. Don't quote me but I think it's about £140 inc postage. If you're wanting half mildot then I suggest any of the Hawke/ MTC range Darryl
  13. Yep, done the AMD & Falcon EMD with it for My rifles mate, works a treat
  14. "Welcome back" to air gunning mate. There's plenty people here to give you advice so I'm sure you won't be stuck. Just don't ask the question "What's better, .177 or .22??" We all know its .22 of course :-P Darryl
  15. It's a numbers and law of averages game mate, the more you visit the more chance you have. Get some business cards printed that way if they say no slip them a card and say "Thanks for your time here's my number in case you change your mind!" Darryl
  16. Best advice I can give is go try them mate...... Everyone including myself has their own "favourites" so to speak. Ok so on the HW range the build quality is superb and they're easily tuned and great to shoot, but they're heavy bits of kit compared to the Lightning. The Lightning is an under rated rifle and can shoot well if you do your part. So like I said, get down to your local and try them out for size, feel, weight & if possible get a few pellets down the range, then and only then will you know the right one to buy You might want to try an Air Arms TX200, again, tr
  17. No more to say...... Just keep options open Darryl
  18. That's what we're all here for mate to learn and help out Darryl
  19. As above...... But in reply Chambers or T.R Robb are probably gonna be your best bet Darryl
  20. Darryl I know I only took about two photo's and a few video clips. I know that both Davy and Si wanted to have just a relaxed meet and not have to worry about filming. And what happened with your gun? Quick release on the sling came loose after 9 pegs and ended up banging off the floor barrel first, separating the action from the stock and breaking the eye bell on my viper connect. This is where I disagree with the rules about barrel down..... If it had been butt down it would have bounced on the butt pad....... All is good now though, no lasting damage to the rifle. Might need to glue
  21. Just got hold of a Falcon Menace for mine so there might be a Phillipines Simmons Whitetail 3.5-10x50 up for sale soon Darryl
