  1. hi rez, I didn't know they were made in the same factory, but now you mention it, it figures because my gun likes both of these, but the aa fields just get the edge with a bit tighter groups, so I have stuck with them, but I could use the exacts if I did run out of the others, interesting though. thank tl
  2. Hi, I have a HW77K in .22 right handed 2001 Air Rifle for sale. I have just installed a brand new V-MACH kit from Blackpool Air Rifles and its averaging 11.52 foot pounds and its going 589 feet ps. Running very smooth. Its has a 3-9x40 scope, its says Bushnells, but not sure if it is a Bushnells (see photo). The stock has got a few marks and some dents from general use. On the top of the cylinder there are a few minor chips. Comes complete with original iron sights and a wool lined gun slip. Would prefer face to face, I'm in the Kent area. Reason for sale I
  3. hi there, there was a very nice one on ebay last week for not a lot of money, and it looked in good condition, hope this helps. thanks tl
  4. I prefer Makita, as all my cordless's are Makita I have built up a nice amount of batteries now, ive got 10 batteries, so all I do is buy the bare unit if I need another, and most Makita bare units are fairly good priced, I think at the end of the day we all prefer a certain make of power tool by how it feels and how it looks and performs then we genuinely stick with them. thanks tl
  5. hi, I would say keep it, I think they are a bit under rated by some but they are a very good air rifle, they are a little under powered in standard trim but if you do a bit of a tune on them they produce a nice bit of power, also there not that heavy (which I like) like some of the others out there, I have a hw35k in .177 with a v mach kit and its around the 11lb foot pound with hawke sights, and its perfect, I actually prefer using it to my hw77k (which I may sell) if I was you, I would give the 35 ago with a tune and see how you get on, (I bet you will love it) then you could make a

  10. hi, by my own process of eliminations it is a mark 3, which I am pleased about, but im still stumped on how to get the front sight/underlever catch off, if anyone can help I would appreciate it. thanks tl
  11. Hi I have just bought a second hand HW77k and I am trying to establish whether its a Mark I, Mark II or Mark III. Does anyone know how I can find out? Its serial number is 1567796 which I believe is to be around 2001. Also want to know what mark it is so I can remove the front sight and under lever latch. Some people say heat it up, some say there should be a grub screw and some say use an allen key. The only screw hole that is on it, is where the front mounted sight sits, which holds the sights on and there is no allen key hole there. If anyone could answer these question
  12. that's over priced quite abit , ha ha ha.
  13. hi, thanks for all your help, much appreciated, there is a hw one with a cut out for the front sight but its £60 + rfd of £15 + post = £ for a silencer...that's to much in my opinion, I didn't fancy filing off the grooves on the end of the barrel were the front sight sits, to allow an adapter to slide on as this would ruin the front sight slots for the future, it may be a case of getting an adapter an get it altered by an engineer, thanks tl
  14. hi, does anyone know were to get hold of a 15mm to 1/2 unf screw cut adapter, that goes on with the front sight still in place?. I know I can get it from gun shops far from me, but It would have to be send from there, to my gun shop (rfd) which costs me an extra £15 every time I do it. is it possible that someone on here makes them? thanks tl
  15. thanks rez, very helpful, much appreciated,

  21. hi barry. I am a bit sceptical about this gun, but that's only because there are so many other good guns out there, but the reviews that I read about this gun were pretty impressive, how true they are is another matter!!, but, they were saying that they are a good fac rifle if need be, but they have full power at 12flb,very accurate, and are light weight, even one guy said "it is as good as his rimfire" (I don't know about that!!!!) but the stock quality was a little poor, it also has a air gauge with easy quick fill, and it was £200 quid, new id be interested to get my hands on one and
