  1. £26 a week if I worked a Saturday morning as a apprentice mechanic. Wanted to be a joiner but with 3 million odd unemployed I took whatever I was offered.

  5. I only ever use Ficam 'D' for wasps. It's not cheap and you need a duster applicator, I use a Birchmeier DR5, but it's the bollocks on wasps. It contains Bendiocarb, This stuff is nasty so wear a respirator. Can I buy it or do I need to be licenced? My Father in Law has been stung five times today from a nest he thinks is in the ground by the greenhouse and wants me to sort the buggers out. If not Ficam what does the experts suggest I use? Something quickly effective as I don't want to be running round the garden being chased.........

  13. Looking on eBay you can buy the tubing in various lengths and I was wondering is a Mtr enough? How many pairs can you get out of a Mtr? I'm guessing it depends on your pull length but if anyone can give an approximation that would help. Thanks fella's

  19. if you go on eBay you can by 4.5 X 1.7 mm latex tube from China for around a £5 there's enough to make up quite a few catty,s and it behaves simulator to tbg but lasts a lot longer you can adjust the power by varying the size of the loop at the fork end about a third loop seems to be a god all rounder Thanks GM, I'll certainly look into it. I'm not sure I understand your advice re varying the size of the loop tho sorry.
