Has anyone seen a reason why the governments of the world have reacted to this particular virus strain in this way ? As has been pointed out, other viruses are claiming many, many more lives every year so what is it about this one ?

I love my motherland as much as anyone, probably more than a lot of people but it’s populated with a load of f***ing idiots and people who don’t give a f**k about it at the minute. Not saying everyone is like that, but the right thinking folks are definitely in the f***ing minority......you know that yourself

It’s not hysteria, it’s saying that the way we have been living has left us exposed......all the 6 bedroom houses and 35 year mortgages in the world won’t stop this (however big or small it ends up being).....we have to start valuing things not just considering the price.

Well hopefully if this teaches us anything it’s that these places matter, community matters, common social bonds matter......what we have been doing is wrong and we have to stop even if that means being smaller and “poorer”.....whatever that means ?

You have nowhere left to turn imho mate, that’s why you can’t stop. Tax (direct and stealth) is at an all time high, your debt is gargantuan and rising at an alarming rate every second, interest rates are at a historical low, nobody gives a f**k about anybody, you have forfeited society in favour of multi culturalism, destroyed your small towns in favour of faceless housing estates and “out of town” shopping and its all rests on you the consumer and tax cow.......you are in rag order and I have been saying it for ages and (again jmho) this will starkly highlight what a state you are in.

One unexpected benefit could be that there are a lot more European babies born, we have not been replenishing as fast as we are dying so this may give us a much needed boost.

They have not made a loud noise about it but you can keep the kids home and heads will authorise the absence over there mate, so just take them out and don’t worry about it.
