I think the system here is better mate, I pay €90 a year but I sort my own rubbish, buy the kids books and as you know the insurance covers the fire brigade if you need them. If the lane needs surfacing I phone the lady from the council and they come and do it, trim the bushes etc etc Council tax in the UK is just about the best example of why you shouldn’t allow the government to relieve you of money (£130 A MONTH) so that you don’t have to do things yourself......

It’s all been the strangest thing really, a subject of conversation in my house for about 5 years has been how the world needs to get smaller and roll back to an earlier, simpler time. In fact at the start of the year I was having a conversation with a mate back where I used to live and saying if it went boss eyed tomorrow that they would be in trouble faster than me because they built over everything, destroyed their high streets and are totally reliant on superstores to feed them.......seems a strange conversation to have had now. I think the question we should ask is, who is going back to the old way of living and how we view things ? Imho this has clearly shown that all the things we have been told are terribly important and all the things we were told we “had” to do are in fact totally meaningless when push comes to shove......they just batted them off. Its shown that it’s more important to grow things than build all over the fields we grow on, it’s shown in many areas that we have lost important parts of our character as a people, it’s shown (and will show) the very worst that we have become. Yep, know all that mate. I used to live near Canterbury as a kid and I was there the other summer, the amount of empty shops really shocked me. Its fecking disgraceful that we should allow beautiful and historic places like Hastings and Canterbury to decline into piss holes.......we have valued absolutely feck all in that country for way too long. They even built one of those hideous new build housing estates slap bang next to Sandwhich which in my opinion is one of the most beautiful and best preserved medieval cinque ports in the country.......fecking heathens like !

I agree but you are already seeing folks are being forced to change their ways, they simply have no say in the matter. Lots of things that everyone thought were important at the end of last month have been made totally irrelevant this month ?

I think the UK is going to have to find it’s soul again or you will be in deep social shite quick sharp......it’s there, but it has been driven down and buried deep, when you look back it was a beautiful thing to behold. We smashed our common bonds of identity and culture on the altar of globalism and multi culturalism......rebuild that and you will rebuild everything. Ignore it and you are setting yourself up for another fall...... Just my opinion.....not a fact
