Now, obviously “The Cafe” is a serious ritual amongst proper chaps, so what are your Cafe must have and must nots?.......mine are: Tea has to be really strong and served in a heavy plain white mug (god forbid NEVER a coffee cup with some legend emblazoned on the side!!) Mushrooms must always be fried, NEVER EVER tinned or, horror or horrors, BOILED !!! Liver has to be cooked boot leather tough. Whats your Cafe nirvana?

People go to church for all different reasons mate, some go to get in the right school for instance but I try to take a kinder view. imho 95% of people who go to church are nice ordinary people with all the right intentions so I personally feel a bit unkind mugging them off. Id guess for most, it’s their connection to their faith......I have seen a lady on the telly who was the victim of the most hideous abuse at the hands of The RC Church Ltd and yet she still go’s and her faith is a comfort to her. I think it go’s deeper for a lot of people, The bible says humans can’t judge..

Evolution is straight forward?.......what, a big explosion happened, some atoms(that had not previously existed before and suddenly appeared out of nothing) bonded with other atoms and given enough time they produced all the myriad different forms of life and geology on this planet, in just the right places and perfectly made to suit that environment.......just by accident? And MY view is supposed to be far fetched!.........the fact is, both views are just different beleife systems and you could easily mock either sides following really.

Forget the scandal of the “care” homes over here and the hundreds of dead babies tossed into sewage pits......the straw that broke the camels back for me was a picture........ One of the top reasons I have nothing to do with organized church, I was christened catholic as were my kids, was a governor of a catholic school and luckily enough our priest was a lovely human being who had kids and grandkids of his own. He had joined the priesthood when his wife had passed away with cancer. However, since moving to ireland it has highlighted everything that’s rotten with that institution and I have completely disowned them. He would have been cooled off to Belmarsh almost no doubt, Belmarsh actually has two prisons if you will......they have the main shithole and then they have like a side prison for low level, young first timers and low risk offenders. They keep all the f***ing animals in the main nick. He will be in with a load of f***ing scumbags just like himself would be my guess mate.......but I could be wrong. They will see how he cracks on and then move him in accordingly......they are pretty sensible about these things.
