Lovely mate, I’m having a trip down that way for a couple of days soon to hopefully fill my van up.....lots of nice things sensibly prices down there. Im quiet looking forward to it, driving about and seeing the scenery, buying nice bits......much better than having a real job ! Haha

Lovely mate, I still have the occasional look online at property down that way.....little old chapels and churches, stuff like that. Wonderful part of the world. I did a few bits in the chewing gum factory at Exeter and it’s great to see fallow just grazing outside the office windows. Are they building much new housing down there like they are in the Home Counties ?

Do you know the River Otter mate?.....down your neck of the woods but may be miles away for all I know. Anyway, that was the first place I ever went fishing, just stopped there on the way home after my dad bought me a little fishing rod set up in Lyme Regis. Was down there on a holiday/roam about type thing for a few weeks and I have loved all that part of England ever since.

Have you ever used a real good quality thermal imager mate?......if you have then you will know that it’s mind blowing just how much you DONT see when you are just out and about or out with the lamp. I think I’m shaping up to get a breeding pair of birds of prey here on the little farm, don’t know what they are because I’m not right up on my birds but they were sat outside my kitchen window last week and are around all the time lately. Ill try and get a decent picture and maybe some lads can tell me, they are small but not kestrels so maybe Spars ?

There’s a time to kill, a time to harvest and a time to leave things alone imho. Fox shooters are the worst offenders in my book, they would be at it every night where as a dog is only ever going to tackle a certain number every week and then only those that can be brought into slipping distance. When you live in a place with a lot of quarry species you don’t give it much thought but when you live somewhere that has hardly any you think about it.......and for the last few years I have not killed anything other than a few crows and a couple of problem foxes

Little encounters like that are nice mate, I spent an evening feeding a vixen and cubs at fishing once. She ended up coming right up to me and taking biscuits literally at my feet. One of the things I used to like about overnight mid week fishing, totally alone on a lake and all the wild things were happy to just go about their business and you could just sit and observe it all. My mum is one of those batty women who feed urban foxes and they are almost tame.

You don’t need to see a report, one drive through Southall or Bradford will tell you these people are complete and utter scumbags and they don’t give a shit what you think ! So you moved for at least a few of the things Tommy Robinson has been pointing out......as I said before, I’m not a massive fan but the bloke is telling uncomfortable truths, many of those truths are the very same reason that lads like you, me and my pal don’t live there any more. Dont see what makes him a bad person for doing that ? It’s good that someone with a platform is saying it out loud in my book. PS. Don’t get wound up when folks say “oh you have upped sticks” and all that old bollocks, the vast majority of them are doing f**k all except keep swallowing it.

Genuine question mate, why did you move to Canada ? My mate is in BC and I know why he moved. I didn’t go that far but I know why I moved. It can (if you let it) be worse for English where I live because of the history and the ongoing situation.......however, you just deal with it.

Mate, I don’t know where those facts came from but if you have posted them I’m not disputing them. All I know is what’s in front of my eyes, it can’t be right or healthy to slash and burn rainforests.....we just ain’t meant to do that. It can’t be right to have highly toxic chemical lakes in China. If one good thing comes out of it it’s that we slow down on all this globalisation shite and start investing in our own young people and making things ourselves.......we used to make things, the very best things then we farmed it all out to the third world and dumped generations of our own people on the scrap heap. We even imported the 3rd world to do their jobs so that they couldn’t even get a job driving a f***ing bus or cleaning a hospital, actually being a doctor is unthinkable ! the world needs to be smaller, much smaller !
