Mate, I totally and completely understand you......I made that self same decision 6 years ago. I grafted my bollocks off, loved a pound note and “the deal”......like most it was feast and a little famine here and there. Everywhere I turned some poxy official holding their hand out, some government bloke taking more and more of my hard earned. All I ever wanted to do was earn my dough, spend time with my kids and let them have a mum at home. But no, they wanted to fix the system so that I was paying them and what’s more they wanted my wife out working too because robbing one

So after this turn out (and obviously we don’t know how bad it’s going to get yet) what lesson, insight, opinion are people going to take away from this ? Obviously, it has seemed to buy into loads of my pre-existing prejudices but it would be interesting to hear what other lads think......there may be things I hadn’t thought about.

They can’t do it without government in their pocket mate, look who makes financial policy in the US.....look who they used to work for. The financial markets, investment banks and political party’s are all staffed by the same people......they are all working together. Which seems obvious until you realise that it’s solely for their benefit and not yours. There has always been rich and poor and there always will be, I’m not stupid enough to think there won’t. Buts it not right that a western government gives away a job making a t-shirt to some sweat shop in India, throws his own bloke on the scrap heap and picks up his dividend from the company making and selling them......all the while his own bloke is condemned to a life on the welfare. Its not always been like that, we used to make things, do things.....we valued ourselves and took pride in what we produced.

I’ll make a guess, I guess that the “poorer” EU countries are doing better than major city’s in the UK. I guess that this will have much less of an affect both short and long term on some backwater village in Rumania than it will on someone in commuter belt Ruislip. The older more traditional places and things will weather this quiet well because they hardly relied on the “global economy” anyway.....they were just cracking on like they had been for donkeys years.

I have not been there for ages mate but I suppose it’s like a lot of the old piss hole areas of London. The locals can’t wait to get out and the young professionals can’t wait to get in.....they are flattening a lot of the old council estates in these areas now and building much nice developments for much nicer people. Totally agree mate, my point is that we did it on purpose and smashed all that was Good and allowed ourselves to be bullied and brainwashed that being a white Englishman in your own country wasn’t important, that it was an out of date way of thinking, that your culture was f**k all. You don’t have to hate people to value yourself and it don’t make you a bigot to tell the truth. Everyone belongs in their own place, the spread of this virus shows the dangers of not doing that.
