Some weeks back a man from my old area put up a post on my old towns local page telling us we need educated about kneeling down for BLM and black men. The page has 23,000 members. This man is a black university lecturer and has run twice for a position as a local councillor. He is married to a white girl who is a nurse and he is 60 years old, he has been in the U.K. for 25 years. All my kids bar the youngest can swim and even the little one is nearly there. He loves swimming, it’s one of the few things he can do without any other complications……says he likes the way the water muffles the sound in his ears, he is at peace. I also absolutely love the water but I cant swim a stroke on the surface. Under water, I’m fine, it’s the staying afloat business I have never mastered. Yeah, I only ever cleared and wholesaled to trade for years mate, then that changed because of cheap new imports, service became a big part of it simply because you have that knowledge and before you knew it I was working for a living ! £25……that’s for nothing that is. Its criminal when you think about it mate isn’t it, you probably couldn’t buy the likes of that quality today and they would be £200 a pop and knackered in 2 years. Something like that has lasted a 100 odd years and will probably last another hundred and it’s £25 ! A bit ornate for my taste but something interesting about them all the same, interesting enough that they will sell anyway. The Irish Freedom Party, they are a broadly libertarian, sensible nationalist type of outfit…..they talk a lot of sense. The ministers have said the legislation to segregate vaccinated and non vaccinated isn’t perfect but they have also been under huge pressure from the pub and restaurant industry to get things open again and it was this or wait another 8 weeks. They have said this is the safest way they can think of doing it, which you can sort of sympathise with. I know people moan but I will say they have put trying to keep people safe first over here all through this pandem

I have seen a couple of them and thought they were good. Sounds nerdy as f**k but another one I found very enjoyable was Portillo’s Great Railway Journeys Across Britain (or something like that)…..it’s mega ! Watch them, enjoy, try and visit some of these places before they build over every last f***ing inch.
