  1. Sounds amazing @dillydog , 63 acres is a chunk of ground. Good for you mate
  2. Gaelic is a religion here mate. You get football towns and Gaelic towns although every town has a Gaelic team. If I’m honest Football here just about holds on imho, there clubs where it’s big and is supported and it shows then there’s the little village team who struggle for numbers and funding every year. Top flight is nice, 15 quid to get in for me and the boy, right up by the pitch, smallish grounds of like 5000 capacity which are never full. Cup of pissy tea and a dog burger, jobs a good one
  3. You always write with a very confrontational style, why is that ?
  4. That’s it mate, can’t beat it. I still love going football (when I can go again), the whole ritual, time with my boy, getting in the turnstile, smell of the pitch and all that old soppy nonsense but I like it. At the minute me and the boy will go and watch local armature sides, Sunday teams and all that.....just being around football and football lads really. I must admit to getting a bit tired of telling people I don’t watch top flight football anymore when everyone’s having the “oh, did you see Kane the other night” or “what about Liverpool?” .
  5. That’s the spirit mate, no bollocks, no bitter taste in your mouth and supporting the game where it really needs support.
  6. I’m a football lad, I love my football mate I have to admit. This current tournament is the first major tournament I have ever not watched. I can watch loads of other football and not feel in the least bit pissed off, simple. You don’t have to be a party to it if you choose not to.
  7. Non league needs peoples help badly, go and stick a tenner in your local clubs pot and watch that instead. None of this shit is going on there
  8. Now that’s a fair call, the bloke should have been prosecuted......the fact that he hasn’t is amazing and hopefully one more thing on the road to getting people angry enough.
  9. I still have my old Stevie Neville alarms, basic as f**k....just the way I like it.
  10. Could be true mate, I’m less angry now days because I just got pissed off with being pissed off all the time ! Lol
  11. Restrictions are absolutely no different to the Spanish flu restrictions mate, it’s literally the same method being followed. That was from a time when politicians still governed in the interests of their country, that’s not the case now. Theres plenty going on to be angry about, this is the very least of it.
  12. But we never say “f**k this”, we say “more of the same please” !
  13. You don’t matter in your own land.....shock! Horror!.....when did this happen ? Lol The world is being run by big corporations buying policy from useful idiot politicians and it’s all being funded with debt underwritten in your name without your say so......but hey, as long as there’s an Audi on the drive who gives a shit, right ? Mate, as I’m sure you are aware absolutely none of this is news......anyone who didn’t know it wasn’t paying attention, simple as that.
  14. They can own everyone with the twitch of a percentage point on the interest rate mate......and they do, already
  15. True though isn’t it mate, we are already gulping down copious amounts of Chlorine and fluoride every single day without one second of consideration. They would just poison the water and save all the agg ?
  16. If the government wanted to do you in on the secret they would just shove something in the tap water.
  17. I think it should be optional where to park and wether you pay tax but it isn’t because it’s about managing a whole country for everyone, least that’s how I understand it mate
  18. Shop workers work in a regulated environment mate, they have rules they have to follow.....it’s just common curtesy to not even put them in a position of having to talk to you about it imho
  19. In fairness mate, I don’t think anyone has ever said it removes all chance. Everyone knows it was only ever “something else” you can do to improve odds. Thats all any of it has ever been about.
  20. No, totally get that and I understand. I just meant with popping on a mask?.....you may well have done but it was just you came across as you didn’t use them.
  21. I worried that my mum who is still in the uk would cop it and die. I didn’t really worry here because I’m very rural, however, I wasn’t blasé about it and took all the precautions to protect myself, my family and my wider community. Everyone else did too, we didn’t really have all these “well I ain’t doing it for no one” types here, everyone mucked in.
  22. Forgive me mate, I’m not being a prick here so please don’t take this the wrong way, but let me ask you. Why wouldn’t you do everything in your power to protect the woman wether you thought it was bollocks or not ? I don’t understand that?
  23. Because they are available and I can mate and COVID is still a reality and nobody else will be bothering more than likely.
  24. I’ll still be using one when I go over, requirement or not mate. Im not as tough as some of these blokes so it’s belt and braces for me.
