Everywhere around us the signs of spring is in the air.Birds are becoming alot more vocal.Theres flicks of rabbit fur around there sets and both rabbit and badger are having an early spring clean out of there homes.   6. I snared this dog fox (He was in prime condition) this morning about 250yds from the gateway where my rabbits got nicked from the other night.The hare was in a fox wire about ten yards from the fox.Theres also a vixen i snared yesterday.
  7. They will take off when the lamp hits the trees or fields near them but it aint a problem,they just f**k off and roost else where .All the feathers you find in the woods the next day are preening feathers,woodies like to preene before they go to roost .

In my opinion neck shots are fine at close range but head shots are out of order.Twice ive seen a deers jaw blown off and the deer run away.Both deer where eventually killed.If that shot of Foxhunters was another two or three inches to the left then that would have blown the deers jaw off as well.To be honest i cant see the point in a head shot when a neck shot is an instant kill with far less chance of a none fatel shot. Just my oppinion....
