    You can make snares out of all sorts of material that will not hold its shape but,you can do something about this .All you need to do is when making your soft noose snares incorperate a single strand of wire.That single strand is enough to make the snare hold its shape. Ive made good snares out of corline(the nylon twine that kids catch crabs with,often orange or black.)I simply wrapped a single strand of brass around the corline so it would hold its "set" position.The trouble was that after a couple of catches the corline frayed.     If your dog is a pup then they probably woulnt try and prossecute.if you have a adult lurcher then you could be done for Tresspass in persuit of game and the law would probably try for a prossecution if the farmer pressed charges

    I take partys of lads out on the woodies most weekends.The way i do it is to get as many guns out over as big an area as possible and flag the fields off that arent been shot.I will also drive round in the landrover putting shots over any birds that settle where they aint supposed to be. By dinner time the birds are getting hungry and start to decoy well

    Coote,you have caught that rabbit by pure luck with no skill at all.Listen carefully and follow these instructions and you will catch as many rabbits as you want.Get rid of your fishing line snares because rabbits are going to bite through the line.Use brass or copper or even thin stainless steel snares. Set the snares on open runs,right over the little beats that they leave..Set the snare at five and a half inches to the bottom of the noose and use a 5"x7" loop.You will need a longer tieler,approx 10" long.
