  3. Where as any one put any one down,He asked for my opion via pm i told him its a nice picture book but not to break the bank for it. I come and say my piece i don't need to change what i say depending to who i say it too.If you like it good if you don't good.I don't need to be a sycophant Sky cat Ive seen enough of your little digs to know them,Got nothing to do with causing trouble its just being honest,Thats why you wont see me forgetting what Ive said before.
  4. I agree. It is not your normal sort of book at all: more for people who really appreciate and understand what a dog can do, and the photography. I was blown away when I first looked at those photos. Trouble is, we get used to amazing photography over the years. How do you go on from something as different as that? IMO Of Dogs and Deer wasn't quite as good, though many of the photographs are still of what I would call 'fine art' standard. Was I just ever so slightly desensitised to the quality, having already see Hare and Swift Hound? Another sly dig,Ihave a great understanding of what a dog
  5. Clever marketing and a lot of hype,I bet most are exactly like mine looked at once then put away,to good to use.It aint a book you can lie in the bath and read.Even if you could it would be a short bath
  6. Cheers tomo,Ive been thinking about putting one in,but its another bill.Think i will put a rad in the kennel and link it in to the house.Take the chill of without cooking em. When the misses aint looking.
  7. Have one here looked through it the day i got it,Hasnt been touched since prefare a book you can read.
  8. Is that a butt plug? Line pin block layers use them.Forgot my knife the other day legged the rabbits using the pin.If you buy them in a shop there mad expensive,I used to know a lad that worked in a foundry, probally get made in china now.
  9. Dos Anyone how much they cost to run per day ,week ,month?
  10. I will spell check it for ya 25 quid a pop
  11. Ive seen it written before on threads like this one, that they diluted what you wrote even preban.
  12. I used to be able to get these,Unbeatable in my eyes,No matter how hard the ground they just push in.Starting to run out now.If any one knows a cheap source can you send me a pm.
  13. On a lighter note love the picture of the week."In the field" 2 fat borders in harnesses and extend able leads
  14. No way that page should have been printed,I haven't brought the cmw for a good while and brought it last week,I really had to look twice.. It wasn't news,It is proper gander,I don't like how some go about there hunting,But that page wasn't about the bad minority or majority? It was making out any one out was stealing etc."Don't try and approach anyone you see out hunting" How would any one go about getting permission if even the so called cmw is saying well actually there going to steal your diesel, quad, combine and sell smack to your kids. Very bad.
  15. All sounds a bit macho,Think il stick to the bunnies.....
  16. Great photos, love the one with dog and rainbow.
  17. but surely chest plates are a small price to pay when risking your dogs life??? Dogs travel at 50 mph in the dark on all sorts of terrain matey, your risking its life every time you let go of the slip lead. Some dogs you got down hill with the wind behind them... My c**ts get a speed wobble if i do 50 in the car with them in the boot

  19. Nice bag. Often toyed with keeping just one dog but couldnt handle staying in if it got injured so keep staying with the two.
  20. the epitome of power!!!! can see why it takes alot of lions to pull one of these down.......... When this lad came running towards you, you feel rather small
  21. If you have a couple of lurchers working covers for fox opening up is very useful lets you know were they are that there on and lets the other dogs know too.
  22. 2 In the morning is a great time to start,But not always practical,Never been out before 9 but i suppose you could.
  23. Ive also had pups that have had a few rabbits, give a yap always as they strike over keenly for the rabbit to dodge it with a turn,They all stopped though once they relised it didnt mean the rabbit would get away just because it out turned them once.If it was just breeding they would start and never stop. Wouldnt have a fox hound x though...
  24. Can be down to breeding or frustration, and probally other things as well. Ive had one that would do it and its a hard fault to live with All you can do is tip the balance for a young dog and keep it winning and hope for the best.
