All good questions ideation,Thats why its so hard to give a answer,You couldnt call her good because shes slow,But at the same time she will run and run and the lad says shes never refused a run even though she must know shes slow. As for buying in pups this lad is like me in that he keeps him self to hes self,He wouldnt even come on here.So you could buy in a pup thats better but unless youve seen the parents working how do you know?

Just wondering what lads think,On this subject after talking to a lad the other day,His dilema is this.. He has a half breed bitch 5 years old used for rabbits,Shes done plenty capable of taking 30`s on the lamp. Good constitution feet nose ect,But she lacks speed.Infact its fair to say shes a plodder. He was asking me what i thought about putting a good fast dog over her.....I found it hard to answer you always think of breeding a good bitch that catches the eye,This bitch is held back by her lack of speed.Thoughts please.

Not saying she is or not,but as wilf was saying i think,If my dog do`s something i dont like, i always look at all other possibility's before i blame the dog. A greyhound muscle bone lad would charge you 15 quid to go over her.

Is she fit.A dog could injure herself running in the park.If she hasnt seen a rabbit since last season she wouldnt be that fit.

Dont think,getting a dog fit is that hard,If your keen and do plenty its very simple.Its lads that have a dog in a kennel 5 days a week that can run into trouble. But if you had a dog with a weak heart you wouldnt know about it till it droped.No matter how fit. Ive seen race horses drop with heart attacks even seen a rider.

Sounds about right,but also think you should make hay while the sun shines,On a good night i dont mind pushing abit.But wouldn't keep going when its obvious the dogs had enough.
