Yeah its hard to beat the beagle/springer the two breeds gel together very well and produces good workers a drop of terrier in there as well does no harm.

Bird if you were giving two bushers for a season and told you could keep 1 of the two after the season one with a great voice the other silent I can guarantee you would pick the 1 that sings on game it's a no brainer.

She is 1/8 COLLIE 2/8 BULL 5/8 GREY.has plenty of speed.my pal has a dog similar way bred has pleny of gears as well strong and racey ideal lamping dogs.

Heard all the stories of these small lurchers killing fox season after season when in reality they took about 10 single in a good season.and pick and chose there strike and when they meet a good strong dog fox keep droping.or double up most the time.hope these little dogs work out for you.

over a season out 2 nights a week lamping fox's and a day or 2 out doing covers with teagles for fox.that's where the size and power of the bull greyhound comes in to its own and you will need it if your serious about foxing. As for handling them train them as a pup should have no problem.I like the idea of the bull/whippets good game little dogs.but they won't keep up with bull/greys over a season.

Spaniel/beagles are the way forward with a good man behind the dog there unstopable and a pleasure to watch work. Spaniel terriers are great ditching dogs but cant live with the spaniel/beagles when doing bigger covers bogs woodland fur plantations.

We have 9 in our pack all well manerd with good recall will follow a line for a bit if scent is good but normally once he breaks over open ground we call back an hunt on if lurcher misses.

Best out 5 rabbits hardly a test of a dog now is it.20 rabbits each or 2 hours lamping still not a test but a better comp would be had.
