  1. Alright, but just for the record I would have murdered ya... But yeh, a truce sounds safer.
  2. Unlucky for you, ive just had a new exhaust kit fitted to my scooby so you will hear me coming before Ive even crossed the border! Its like my WAR cry. You'll be eating your hagis through a straw when my fists of furry have finished, ya big scotch fanny! Seriously though, you on for this? Im getting a little scared.......

  5. FFS GROW UP! jesus f*****g christ, its the f*****g internet!
  6. thats the biggest point for me an one thats being missed by most here mate. some dogs i would like to think could do it in the end, but it aint sport, it aint neccessary, and its downright f***ing cruel, not to mention stupid. just hope there arent some young lads on here with big dogs thinking 'i bet ours can'. could all end in tears well said mate Well in that case, lets not hunt at all. Lets all turn veggy. Because hunting involves cruelty (depending on your definition). Is it cruel when wolves make a kill on a large stag? This is no different! It isnt neccessary to hunt rabbits
  7. Realistically, how many dogs are worked on big fast game week in week out and so develop the ability to bring down such beasts? Im talking regularly taking fallow bucks and bigger. Not many I should think. I would imagine that if a dog was to do it, it would have to be well experienced with knocking over big bucks and of course physical strength is gonna be a serious factor here. Cant be many dogs physically capable of dropping one, having the mental determination to do it AND have the experience of taking large fast game on a regular bassis! However, I do not believe it impossible and my life
  8. Even if somebody has and even puts pics up, there will be 20 people saying its all lies. I give it half hour before beddy whippets are mentioned...
  9. Is it even possible to volunteer to be an 'expert'? Wonder what the 'experts' qualifications are...
  10. Same shit, different day. Nothing ever changes...

  16. Is it still for sale? Where abouts are you?
  17. Im not particularly subtle with a 'KEEP HUNTING' sticker in my car window. Not had any grief yet...
  18. Ive got nothing to say that hasnt already been said or that will make any difference. We are all very proud of our lads and lasses serving their country for our 'freedom'. In a strange way it seemed kinda right that the dog passed away with its master, true devotion and a bond that cant be described with words. Stay safe and come home well
  19. i like the first and last two myself... cheers for the comments guys. I didnt view the pic properly so didnt appreciate it up till now. That second to last is a good one, I like the way im drawn to that statue at the bottom. Clever bit of photography with that pic imo
  20. Old wives tales are rife amongst the hunting community no matter where you are, its usually the sort that know feck all but the one time they actually have been out has turned into a lifetimes experience to all those who will listen at the local. Sad fact is, newbies who start asking about get directed to these clowns and believe them. Only the other day I was told by a shooting man in the pub about how to make a terrier bay. It involved a cat and a washing line...
  21. whats the warm soap for mate, lol eh i think i may need to watch my spelling just out of interest what would you expect to be paid for a syndicate shoot of average 40 to 60 bird days, guns standing all day ? 15-30 quid, brace of birds, bit of snap (pork pie and drink etc). All depends how long you have been beating for that shoot, whether you have a dog and how generous that shoot is, lol.
  22. Its a cruel and outdated wives tale and we should all do our best to put the uneducated straight. Ive got a hob I found a few years ago and all his canines are broken, either though work or the twats that dumped him. That ferret will murder any rabbit that is stupid enough not to bolt and is by far one of the best ferrets ive ever worked. Broken canines dont stop a ferret killing, just make the job a little slower. IMO its a disadvantage, certainly not an advantage in anyway.
