Ill second dark angel! Jessica Alba in leathers giving a bike a good thrashing and generally kicking arse.... Just a shame it finished without really coming to a good conclusion, needed a third series. Also game of thrones for anyone that hasnt seen it.

For fecks sake lads it was a bloody joke. The point being that fuels expensive but it would still be cheaper than buying from a butcher. Its an option, yes, but all im saying is butchers are expensive. Im not actually suggesting to drive around actively looking for squished rabbits.

I wouldnt like to pay butchers prices! lol. It would be cheaper driving around in the morning looking for roadkill than buying rabbits from a butcher a 4 quid a poxy rabbit!

Is it a case of the only reasonable working fox terrier blood left is on the continent? I've noticed the posts by continental europeans often have a fox terrier or two knocking about with a bloody nose...

WHO S YOUR FAVOURITE HUNTING LIFE CHARACTER
Born Hunter replied to windyhill's topic in General Talk
Windyhill you wolly! In my opinion some of the strongest characters who you will have a good bit of banter with often come across a bit strong on the internet and in text as it is difficult to grasp the context of what they are saying and it is often taken the wrong way. Im sure Dances will forgive you. Bless ya -
Tried them and they do it...but only if you get them chipped as well...£52 per pup.... Thats the law mate, all vets will insist on that. But not at 3-5 days old! Is that what they wanted to do? Chip the pups at 3 days old?

You bought the dog last week off of a bloke in the pub, he told ya it was a good rabbiter. What he did with it before was his business. Feck knows, guess we will see in a week... You could just say it keep barrelling into brambles and fencing after rabbits though, hence the scars....there's no a lot they can prove really is there? It all seems like a silly and expensive inconvenience more than anything if you ask me. Depends if the RSPCA got involved and it went to court. They will have their 'experts' telling everyone how the scars are inicative of a certain type of work. Thin

.17 hmr rifle the only way Most people can't get fox on a 17hmr ticket let alone old brock, the powers that be always prefer overkill. If I was to hazzard a gues I would say they will want a min of .243.

If im absolutely honest, I didnt think it was too bad. Other than a couple of daft things said I didnt feel like it was intended in the same malicious way that countryfile did last year. It wasnt about giving a fair argument, just showing the job of the wildlife crime officer chasing coursing men about. If anything I thought it showed what a farce the law is, catch the lads and tell them off lol. They could have showed alot more emotionally provoking footage but left it all fairly clean and even the lads that were collared behaved and came across as normal civilised people, not getting viole

Looks like they will be lamped and shot... "In the RBCT, badgers were trapped in cages and shot. However, the government - and farmers - are keen to have marksmen shooting badgers as they roam at night, which is much cheaper, under licences issued by Natural England. The effectiveness of "controlled shooting", as it is now known, has never been tested. Under the new draft guidelines, marksmen would have to hold a top level deerstalking licence, and would also have to undergo training on the specifics of killing badgers with a single shot, and on potential public safety ramif

More chance of getting a blowjob from the queen! We all know that its the most sensible way of doing things but this country holds billy as some sort of untouchable. All the farmers want is the freedom to legally control this pest but rather than that the government favour a cull at the tax payers expence. They reckon TB costs the taxpayer 100 million a year! I wonder how much this cull will cost? If it does ever happen then will have to be kept up anually. PS Ive notivced in the media they are mentioning that the badger is a protected species under European law. We all know in many

come on bet loads of you have done this
Born Hunter replied to watchman's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
This isnt so much about pups getting it wrong as us; Only thing that comes to mind is when I was out lamping last year with a couple of my friends, we had 4 dogs out that night in total, 2 of which were first season pups. The land held good numbers of rabbits and all the dogs were getting a few runs..... Anybody ever been out with a few too many dogs and had one of the rabbits decide to run straight towards you all with lurcher right up its scut?..... All dogs lunged together pulling us with them and the rabbit used one of the dogs heads as a spring board jumping straight at the yo -
Something I've just read on good old Wikipedia; "In some parts of the British Isles, the abandoning of domestic ferrets has led to ferret-polecat crossbreeds living in the wild. Ferrets were likely first brought to Britain after the Norman Conquest of England, or as late as the fourteenth century. It is currently impossible to distinguish pure polecats from hybrids through DNA analysis, as the two forms are too closely related and inter-mixed to be separated through modern genetic methods." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_polecat under 'Hybridisation'. I would imagine it woul

The charity collection firm i worked for payed a hourly rate that was just above min wage but you also got payed on commission for sign ups. Some of the best collectors were comming away with a seriously good wage for what was only part time work! The management in the company were doing pretty well for doing what looked like f**k all work. The reckoned statistically the average donar will give about 200 quid in total so there is obviously a minimum number of sign ups neccessary for a collector to be pulling his weight. Anyone wanting to donate would be far better going direct to the charity a

Haha, i did exactly the same job as that for a grand total of 3 days before deciding it really wasnt a healthy job to be doing. Knocking on doors asking for charity in estates that you just dont knock on some buggers door is just welcoming a kicking! We genuinely werent allowd to take cash donations, monthly donations allow the charitys to budget long term and employ the right research staff. It makes sense and isnt just a blag to rob ya, but equally I think all these charity collection companys are fecking corrupt and do the charitys out of far more than is charitable! At the time I N

If my memory is right, molly and millet used to put up some cracking ratting posts with pics! They used ferrets regularly and seem to know the score. See if you can find any of the old posts or if ya lucky one of them may see this thread and give you their experienced opinion.

Some people are making world politics far too simple. Ideation is talking ALOT of sense! Its alright saying "stop all aid" but all those millions do far more good for this country than bad, whether its right or not its usually in our interest. Arms and oil are usually part of the complex mystery, industrys the uk has a hell of alot to do with internationally.
