  1. I honestly don't know. Why have they only been discovered on this balloon and not on anything else recovered from space? Why aren't they on the moon?
  2. It the number 1 trending article on sky news Malt. But sky themselves didn't consider it 'breaking news'? LOL It reminds me of the superluminous neutrino. Lets just wait and see to make sure someone didn't just sneeze on the balloon.
  3. It's alright Lab, unfortunately it's not a three titted Martian!
  4. http://news.sky.com/story/1143906/alien-bugs-discovered-in-earths-atmosphere
  5. New season of Mountain Men last night too. They have lion hunting with hounds in this season.
  6. Unfortunately mate I can't have an open fire here as I am on royal ground and the queen don't like fires lol ........ From squadie to the royal rabbit catcher.................. do you get letters after your name for that?
  7. It's f***ing bleak on the fenns! Some nice villages away from the fenns.
  8. Can't tell Paulus, it's all a bit blurry........ Can anybody else make it out?
  9. I like the blade design, looks very similar to that b*****d of a custom knife you made me Matt. But, asthetically at least, I prefer the fieldcrafter handle with the 'rolling off' end. Smart knife all the same.
  10. I think when there's trouble the last person you want to see is Captain Wales............ Not room for many SF lads in a Westland Apache!
  11. Service dogs get the bullet all the time, just anti royalists using it for a cheap shot.
  12. I reckon youve got a dog that you cant let of the lead eh?... She's steadier with birds than half the spaniels I've seen, all bets are off with fur though.
  13. Lab, If all you are going to do is keep it on a lead the whole season then I agree, but even dogs that are a bit deaf at times can be used for blanking in a hedge row, picking up or whatever, as long as the handler is willing to put up with a dog with limited use that's their business as far as I'm concerned. Their's an insight into our ramshackle shoot, LOL.
  14. Aaron, stay where you are mate, I think it's fair to say most would consider you welcome here but I really can't see this country being any better than your own. I love Britain because I'm British and proud of my culture and heritage but if I was completely objective I'd say you have things pretty damn sweet over the pond in term of your civil liberties, countryside and hunting.
  15. I'd rather see a dog on a lead than f*****g the drive up.... LOL I'd rather a guy with a stick, clapper or flag than a dog on the lead mate. No point. Personally lab, I have no problem with it. I don't really care what it looks like and I'm yet to see a beater that can't hold a lead and a stick. I'd rather see people do what ever they are comfortable with. Never had a problem seeing a dog on a lead, had a few problems seeing dogs off leads though.
  16. Pheasant - #6 Duck - #4 steel Geese - never shot one but ever the opportunist 36gm BB would be to hand and going up the spout Hare - don't shoot them but #4 is the ticket, killed plenty with #6 & #5 as a teenager though Rabbit - #5
  17. I'd say take ya dog, but if you are a bit apprehensive then leave the dog at home this time, just go and get a feel for the shoot and not worry about ya dog. It won't do the dog any favours you being on edge. JMO
  18. I'd rather see a dog on a lead than f***ing the drive up.... LOL
  19. I want to say ban it outright or at the very least ban it in public but the liberal in me says ban it in certain places. I don't believe we should bend the rule of law for foreign religious practices but equally I don't believe the state should remove any of our freedoms. The burkha has become a symbol of Islam amongst the native Britons, to ban it would appease an increasingly alienated native population.
  20. Looks like it was a bad case of PTSD and not terrorism.
  21. Good stuff, we don't start untill the 28th. So everybody rates a decent glue on welly boots? I've gone and sliced my new wellies on some barbed, not all the way through but still gonna be a weak point. I was thinking of sealing it with a hot knife?
  22. Use a bit of ply screwed to the legs of the feeder to deflect/direct the spread.
  23. I said this when Rigby was attacked, these 'loan wolf' type terrorist attacks are gonna be more common. They are harder for the security services to pre-empt than attacks by organised terrorist units. These unafiliated wackos have been spontaneously radicalised and just pop undetected.
