Where did you find a dead body? What's the crack with that? I thought I was gonna find a body once, followed this blood trail through the woods for hundreds of meters starting from the road. Honestly half expected to find someone having bled out, turns out just to be lads camping and their mate tried to saw his foot off. Slightly dissapointed if I'm honest. If we guess this object will you tell us?

Okay then, so here's my question to you, would you convict them on that if you were the sole jurer? We're all allowed opinions mind, but would you punish them for murder or whatever with what you think you know?
-
f**k knows but I understand the point you are making. Does it mean that there absolutely is a bomb on board though? Then if the plain was searched and no bomb found does that mean the dog was right or wrong? It's simply inconclusive in the absence of other evidence. Thus we can't draw a conclusion from it alone.

If I was involved in anything like this there's not a snowballs chance in hell I'd be taking a lie detector test! Talk about tieing your own noose!

Haha, of course a drug dog's never marked a mars bar.... I reiterate, the dogs wouldn't be marking if there wasn't anything to mark! Over 200 bodies marked and/or found but all of a sudden they're no good. Finding or marking dead bodies is bread and butter to a dog! RT your logic is flawed "the dog doesn't lie so they must be"? Yeah, water tight that. Over 200 marked or found, okay, how many of those were on the same time frame as this case? Has the dog never been wrong? If the dog is correct is that conclusive proof that the parents are guilty? RT it's this simpl

no it would need a body first, but i wouldn't be nominating them for parents of the year either Neither would I, they f****d up.

we are saying theres a very strong possibility that a dead body was in the room and in the boot of their hire car I can't dissagree with that. But what is being implied is that the parents are guilty solely because of this and the fact they are discrediting the dog for what to them is obviously bollocks. You can't draw that conclusion based solely on that. but all he evidence circumstantial or otherwise points to the fact the child is dead not abducted as the parents claim. from the dogs marking to the blood in the car boot all thats missing is a body and a provable motive, whe

Actions of an innocent mother just wanting to find her daughter? Your kids been taken and the police are interrogating you perso

I haven't said that anywhere have I? There are loads of plausible explanations.. Going firmly into the realms of speculation here but with both of the Mcanns being doctors there is a very real possibility that they come into contact with dead folk from time to time.. Those dogs can apparently detect death even on washed items of clothing, so maybe it wasn't the little girl they were detecting? If that girl died in the apartment, I think it's more plausible that something happened to her in her parents absence rather than her being murdered anyway. Choke/fall/strangulation/etc, the same sort

Right okay, so based on this dog are we actually saying that the parents are guilty of murder? Is that how we do things now? If not, I wonder why? Possibly because it's considered inconclusive by the experts?

Haha, of course a drug dog's never marked a mars bar.... Not quite the same but part of my shepherds sch training is tracking and article indication now I am nowhere near the level of the dogs used out there but when my dog indicates or follows a track its easy to tell from his demeanor if its a false indication or not I only do it for fun these guys do it for a living they would have a fair idea if the dog was right or no My only point Dan is that dogs don't tell the truth or lie, they just behave and we interpret that behaviour as trained and as their instincts direct them. It's o

Nothings been mentioned mate...i don't think you can argue with a dog that had found over 200 bodies beforehand swept under the carpet because it didn't suit the McCanns... It's not been swept under the carpet for any other reason than it wouldn't stand up in court RT. It's that simple. Not to mention as I have said previously, the dog was walked around the car and showed no sign of a mark, then directed to the boot again (after walking away) by the handler and then gave a mark..... I've found that much out with a 5 second search, I wonder what else there is that we don't know about it tha

That's fine but suppose you have a 10 square miles of rubble, and you only have time to dig one hole, the dog is worked over all 10 square miles showing no indication, then the dog is taken back to a possible suspect area and despite ignoring it previously gives a mark. How much do you trust that mark? You haven't a choice in the absence of any other evidence but how much do you trust it? You dig but don't find your kid. Was the dog right and you missed the kid? Was the dog right and something more than the obvious has gone on? Or was the dog simply wrong in a rare case? Using your analogy ma

fair point, but isnt a juries duty to sum up all the evidence.and then make a decision. lets be honest here there plenty doubt in this case as to there innocence. i have my own opinion about them, and there arrogance from day one made me despise them. see if that had been my mate, and he said look i f****d up totally. what i did was wrong and i will need to suffer this for the rest of my life.but please dont make my stupidity cloud the hunt for my daughter. i would prob look at him/them diffrent. personally i would have been racked with guilt and would have been in bits. no writing books an

Scot mate, you ever watched one of these numerous conspiracy programmes and been fecking convinced that the Big Lie is true!? Then later in the programme they torpedo all the evidence they just fed you and suddenly you're convinced it's all bollocks..... You're the jury, what convinced you was the prosecution and what made you think it's all bollocks was the defense. People can be so easily swayed when if they remained truely objective they would not make their judgement untill conclusive evidence was produced. We can all only base our judgements on our experiences, that's a flaw in itself

why would you think the comments here wouldn't reflect the population in general, I wouldn't want to be in front of any jury of regular folks off of the street Paulus. It's one thing saying "this is suspicious" it's another thing entirely saying "they're obviously guilty, hang em". FFS you only have to get talking about conspiracies to realise how speculative people are when it comes to 'facts'. so what folk would you want ?out of touch old duffers that sit daily on the bench. People that understand what is proof and what is suspicious evidence Scot.
