  1. LOL. I was refering to SACS, the bit highlighted in bold in your quote. It's half the price of the BDS insurance and you get a THL discount.
  2. Did anybody watch that Countryfile? What a piss poor performance from the shooting community! The BASC chap came looked and sounded like every other bullshiting politician, but at least he was pushing the gun wedge in the 'pro' direction which is more than the farmer or our wonderful Olympian were doing... "the government are doing enough to support shooting"..... "UK FA legislation is satisfactory and not overly draconian"....... FFS it's high time we took a leaf out of the US NRAs book when it comes to political lobbying for FAs rights. At the very least let's all sing from the same bloody h
  3. Someone has learnt how to post pictures on his new phone...
  4. I bet she was raging when she did that and found out she only won a drink..............I know I was !! I can't imagine the lads were too impressed either... thinking they were gonna get a blowjob off of a filthy young blonde only to get their flaccid cocks barely kissed!
  5. He really does think he's bovine! Not being quite so 'intimate' with his mates today then? LOL How many others have seen a lone wild fallow run to a herd of beast for safety and then quite happily let them lick him to death?
  6. Hopefully I will be! Nice one mate. I'll text you later.
  7. Don't listen to Dan folks, he doesn't shoot foxes in numbers, he's only done about 40 or so in the past couple weeks. And it fucks him right up if you forget you left the mag wound down on his scope, quite frankly he's a rank amateur....
  8. A very astute observation BH and no doubt a truism. However, it does not address why the need for humans to employ tools to hunt? While other animals that are arguably the same age, if not as highly developed as man, have developed into niche hunters that need no tools to catch a living. TC Humans thousands of years ago are believed to have been able to run at speeds of up to 30mph..... we can't anymore..... as our intelligence has given us the ability to use tools and comlex planning to achieve our goals with minimal effort we have lost the need to achieve them through more primi
  9. Take any animal away from it's natural environment and it's a bag of shite........ Our natural environment is one of a complex community where individuals are largely dependant on that society. It's no different to any other species. We're capable of surviving in just about any ecosystem this planet has but only with our highly developed society, that is OUR natural environment.
  10. Walshie will know, he's right into that stuff...... he has newspaper cuttings, photographs, plaster casts, the works.
  11. Some girls go off the rails a bit at that age. I'm not saying that is common for a wild cock mad girl but lets face it there's plenty educated and otherwise well brought up girls that are well into three figures notched into their bedposts and think nothing of giving it out easy for a free ride in life. I bet she was completely off her f***ing head. Whatever, it's her life...
  12. That was a nice read..... as morbid as that sounds. Just refreshing. Terriers do have a way of becoming part of the family. Far more biddable than their reputation suggests.
  13. Get someone to show you how to chin.... You'll never look back fella I watched a mate do it, still not the foggiest, LOL. I can neck a rabbit in a second, never felt the need to practice chinning. I'm probably missing a trick but equally I can stretch a rabbits neck with one hand, ya can't chin one one handed. LOL
  14. Never mastered chinning, always stretched their necks and I don't have to take them from the net either. Not a properly made net anyway.
  15. Add 20p to the price of each rabbit and give them an ounce of lead to the head from a scatter gun....... see what his 'ethical code' makes of that. Me thinks he needs a bit of education on the subject. Breaking a rabbits neck is maybe a few tenths of a second slower than a bullet to the brain in killing the animal but is far more likely to result in relatively instant death. How humane a method is has to take into account more than just the perfect scenario but also the statistical chance of pulling off that perfect scenario.
  16. I'm no tennis fan but I think the lad is alright, his personality is the product of the sort of drive required to be the first British Wimbledon winner in 77 years imo. He obviously struggles in the public eye and I'd hazard a guess when feeling more comfortable and natural shows a different character altogether. But you're probably right, he must be a c**t to have a girlfriend as hot as he does!
  17. Absolutely barking! Poor lad. His old man is dead and he just wants to follow the sport his dad loved... a clean, safe and respectful sport. Beggars beliefe really.
  18. I wouldn't expect anything more. Tell him to write a book...... not about cockers mind. LOL
  19. It is a shame he lies though like making out he was the youngest Brit to scale Everest when that was not true (And since a 13 year old child has just managed it is it really that hard?) like claiming he flew over Everest when he didn't. IMHO real hero's, real men for that do not need to lie or embellish or steal others achievements to gain adulation. He's no hero that's for sure and as Ideation like you have said there is that bullshit side of him that sours the obvious grit he has. You want to talk about real amazing and inspirational people... well for me that's old and bold Sp
  20. I'm not making out he's some f*****g super hero or legend, but the stuff he has done isn't regular joe bloggs stuff. Some of that is real substance testing stuff and takes grit. I just think he deserves a bit of respect for that side of him.
  21. which world firsts has he achieved mate? According to Wikipedia, so bear with me ; First team to attempt to paramotor over angel falls. I admit attempt and success are two different things. World record for longest sustained indoor free fall. Paramotoring over the Himalayas. Some of the more impressive stuff was not world firsts. Stuff like climbing everest and crossing the Atlantic Ocean unassisted and as I've mentioned passing selection for 21 SAS. Also attempting to scale an unclimbed peak in Antarctica, but breaking a bone being a lairy pratt f****d it for him.
  22. Yeah 'c**ts' a bit strong, LOL, sorry. I'm just speaking plainly, I don't actually think someone is a c**t for knocking him. Just to me at least, it looks a bit rich to knock him when his achievements really are quite great. Plenty of lads have done similar impressive things but a couple of things he's done have also been world firsts. I agree with you really, I just also think he is deserving of a bit of respect for his genuine achievements regardless of how likeable he is for his personality flaws. That's all I originally wanted to point out with my first post.
  23. Only just been able to watch that mate. Pretty much puts into words exactly what I think of Bear Grylls, LOL. Like I said, the man has some great achievements but his TV shows are far too Hollywood and dramatic for me to actually enjoy. But he's catering for townies and kids and that's what sells. As for Raymondo, I'm not a survivalist so can't comment but he's done a lot of documentary type programmes studying the historical aspects of survival and subsistence living which I do find interesting.
  24. As sure as I am any of the other 'names' have done. He served with 21 SAS which along with 23 SAS are the reservist SAS regiments. It's not 22 Regt no but they still have to pass a gruelling selection and training (watered down version of the regulars selection) and will be deployed along side regulars from 22 Regt. It's a bit more than just the TA. And that's just one of his achievements. All I'm saying is the chap is more than just the wannabe or fake he comes across as, he's done some pretty impressive shit by anybodies standards. I'm not a big fan of his but untill I've done some impressiv
