Yes it is mate but I think the origins are based in Eastern Europe somewhere ??? ... It's a very aggressive form of attack through defence rather than concentrating on attacking style with defence being secondary as in jeet kune ... Wing chun etc ......... I wouldn't know Socks, martial arts aren't really my thing. But I do know if the Israelis developed it then it probably results in permanent dissability and death. LOL. Neems, do you not think that there are an awfull lot of states in the modern world built on bloody and shady pasts? That's just the way of the world imo. I'm a British patriot which I appreciate is different to you and many others who are probably more accurately English patriots, but am I f**k willing to give up N.Ireland, the Falklands, Gibraltar etc just because we took them through force or in a debateable manor in the past. Thing is, these Hamas 'freedom fighters' they haven't a hope in hell. They cannot and will not achieve their goals, they're launch fireworks at a country that has some of the most sophisticated military tech in existance. They can't win and yet continue to bring the wrath of the Israeli military on them in active defence of Israel and in doing so accept huge Palestinian civilian casualties. What's mind boggling is that the Palestinians genuinely have a lot of the worlds sympathy and so a lot could be achieved through diplomacy but they won't have it.

Well said Wilf. Whether or not people like it Israel is a sovereign state and is defending itself from attack. The simplest and most effective means to do that would be a full scale ground invasion but that'll be seen as an escalation and they're struggling as it is to balance defence of their borders against international political pressure to end the violence. Precision guided munitions and smart weapons are going to have collateral damage when the enemy hide their military hardware amongst civilians but what choice do the Israelis have? To believe that the entire scientific community is being controlled in such a way is incredibly farcical. But none of those academics are actually quoted as saying it cures cancer. They simply don't believe it is as dangerous as society has led us all to believe. Right? Also a very american reaction..... overreaction! Christ, teenagers don't always grasp the historical significance of the places they visit. Nonetheless she has made the effort to visit it and seems to have enjoyed it. Not like she's mocked any of the poor feckers that were locked up there. If you are going to make something a tourist attraction then you had better prepare yourself for people actually enjoying their experience.
