Hear, hear!!! The biggest problem I see with the British shooting community is our almost suicidal acceptance of the oppressive gun laws we have! So long as we continue to errr on the side of caution, the wedge will only ever go in one direction...

Captain Phillips another SEALs film. Thought it was very average until they dropped in. Quite good film then. The yanks really support these films. Propaganda and all that.

The really sad thing is that this shouldn't be the government's responsibility. Making sure societies less able are warm, dry and fed should really be a part of British society, it used to be. There should only really be a very small number of cases where this is not so and the government need to provide a safety blanket...

If they're only getting one a week, will one a fortnight make any difference? f**k it, just pack it up completely! Surely, those that are in such a poor situation, they should be getting one hot meal a day at least!

Most of them enter the area through the back door and even if they are known to have been there, legally proving they have committed terrorist offences is another thing. i think they said 5 or 6 had been detained/prosocuted,scary to think they are roaming free,what is the idea of letting them back?is it so the authoritys can keep eye and monitor them ,incase they lead them to someone further up the chain ? Legally, if you can't nail them for anything, then they're no different to any other

Really? Holy shit.. Back end of last year the official number that went to fight was 500, with an estimated 250 returned..... Some say it was more like 2000 gone to fight! How many have returned now 2-3 months later?

A 22 may well produce a cleaner carcass but you're missing out on some cracking sport if you refuse to shoot them with a shotgun. On a good rabbit year I love walking the hedges with my terrier. Great sport in September.

If I was using a gun wholly and solely for rabbits, it'd be a semi auto with 1/4 choke. But there is f**k all wrong with an over and under or side by side.

Come'on fella, the police enforce the law that the Home Office tell them to. You might not agree with the law or even like the police but without them we'd be in a shit state. I for one, could not allow myself to condemn an individual PC to death by chopper just because I had a grievance with the force or the law.

a friend of mine has one it only cycles one make of cartridge i can't remember which brand but they were very expensive nothing else would work properly in it I suspected that might be the case. Those peculiar pencil cartridges just look awkward for a semi. Plus only Remington make one.... it did make me wonder.

Hang on a minute, what I think is the preferable method isn't important. You want to ban hare shooting in the hope that it'll get coursing back! I'm not putting either above the other, I want both legal! Why not if it's perfectly legal, which it is to my understanding?If your home is invaded then you can defend yourself with a gun. Under the same law you can defend others... it against the law to discharge a firearm on a public road..
