LOL, I don't care what he deserves. I'm just giving my opinion on how it'll go down. They've tried once already and he got away by the skin of his teeth. I can't see them risking a tier 1 spec ops team and all the associated hardware just to take one terrorist for the publicity of a trial. Unless he's holed up somewhere that makes an air strike unviable. That's my objective opinion, not what I consider fair.

As far as I'm concerned, anything the Police are allowed for their defence, civilians should also be allowed for their defence. Why the Police are implicitly more trustworthy than I am I'm yet to understand. Also, why they have the right to greater means of self defence I also don't understand.

There seems to be a law in nature that states no matter how big your gun cabinet, the fecker will be filled within 6 months! In light of this realisation I'm going to go against convention and suggest you buy the smallest you can! Your bank balance will thank you!

TBH once the place starts to look occupied you'll probably find a lot of these mooching feckers take the hint. Then you'll just have to deal with the regular sort of chancing outsiders we all have to deal with.

@ Dan. Also a big reason why landowners are very happy to have a shoot on their land. Extra eyes at all hours and extra hands a phone call away if something is about to kick off.

I don't play games, never have. And it doesn't take many warheads with advanced delivery systems to make any nuclear aggressor decide it ain't worth wiping us from history. We'd leave their country so scarred and weakened they'd never risk it.

If it goes nuclear they are also f****d, that's the point. The only way the Russians could take the UK is if they took most of western Europe first. Without advanced carrier battle groups they can't fight that sort of conflict a thousand miles from any of their bases. Our subs would terrify their navy and even if they landed all 30000 airborne on our islands, without air support they're f****d. Besides most of their airborne are "on holiday" in eastern Ukraine! LOL

Joe you can hardly compare raw numbers like one destroyer is completely equal to another! Like a conscript force is equal to a professional force! Lol. What's their expeditionary capability? Strategically what would they have to achieve prior to an invasion? How could they do that? How are they going to support an invasion force in the UK? How are they going to neutralise our Vanguard boats?

I dont believe the uk is doing as great as many think. nothing new there... if russia wanted to make a threat, its more than capable.. its taking the piss, as mentioned above they have been doing this for sometime now. i remember the fleet that the had ships scrambling 24 hours into scottish waters,other russian ships and the other air craft...
