  1. Move like a butterfly, sting like a bee and all that
  2. I posted it here years ago but it’s been taken off or something now. it was epic!
  3. I follow these guys, they kill some f***ing brutes.
  4. Right, that’s it... give me two weeks! Not just any boar, I want the f***ing Erymanthian Boar!
  5. Just to clarify, I’m well aware they are nasty c**ts. I just wasn’t sure if they were technically categorised as ‘dangerous game’. Like bears and African big cats etc. If they weren’t nasty there’d not be much point in wanting to get on personal terms with them. Lol
  6. Fair shout. https://www.huntercourse.com/blog/2011/11/the-worlds-most-dangerous-game-to-hunt/ They're still about the only one on that list I'd face with a spear though.
  7. That's kinda the point. It's not a lack of respect, it's an admiration for a moderately dangerous quarry. I say moderately because I'm not sure they're technically classed as 'dangerous game'. I think it's a great shame that we don't have millions of them all over the country.
  8. In suburban areas bowhunting would be an ideal control method. In fact I think in the US it's being pushed but for deer management.
  9. Imagine the fun getting into them with half a dozen terriers and a spear.
  10. Just reading now. At a guess I'd say it was because they went on a UK style lockdown just four days after their first death. Not sure about other factors, like how well prepared their health care system was, testing ability, social factors etc. They're a much less dense population too which I'd speculate is what has kept Sweden out the headlines.
  11. Talking about 'excess deaths' this is an interesting analysis by The Economist. https://www.economist.com/graphic-detail/2020/04/16/tracking-covid-19-excess-deaths-across-countries
  12. There's an old boy at Moorhouse/Ossington that does them. Proper little setup. I'm afraid I don't have any contact details but it's a lead at least.
  13. Shit one mate. All you can do is move forward proactively to reduce the chances of it happening again. All the best.
  14. Matey puts his 150yrd shot about 5" high and still considers it a trustworthy datapoint!
  15. I dunno mate, I don't like to put much thought into which animal would beat which. Takes away a bit from how cool all these beasts are! Another favourite, leopard seals.
  16. I dunno, I've been well impressed with sperm whales! Orca are cool though, bunch of c**ts but cool. Talking about powerful marine predators, to me this is iconic. Ocean Ramsey and Deep Blue....
  17. Sending a seal into orbit!
  18. I had a bit of a whale fad last year. I thought this was cool.
  19. Wilf's place tonight...
  20. Yeah yeah, no worries, we'll just have a word with the virus and see if this is possible.
  21. I don't! I hope the little warrior survives a bit longer, this has the potential to tun into quite a saga.
