  1. Oh right, cool. I've walked through some of the ranges before but not that far. Another place on my list, cheers. Soon as this bollocks is over I want to basically go all the way from West Lulworth to Chapman's Pool (and back). It's not very far but it's a chunk of coast that is packed with stuff.
  2. Intend to walk to Chapman's pool, just round the corner by the looks of it. Go see the Commando memorial while I'm there. Otherwise furthest I've been East would be Kimmeridge. Which is pretty cool with the kelp forests (I think it's kelp?).
  3. Don't think so, not knowingly at least.
  4. I like West Bay for beach days or the coast east of Portland for exploring myself. Then few miles inland and you have some of the most scenic downland in England imo.
  5. Well, finished watching it. Was a bit touchy-feely, whereas I'd have liked a bit more of a rugged 'castaway' feel. Obviously great spearfishing footage. Pretty cool bit at the end where he finds a manta ray tied up and visibly scared from rope and cuts it free.
  6. LOL, never been to either but passed through Weymouth to get to Portland about 6-7 years ago. It didn't look particularly inviting, haha. Portland was pretty mind, but there are much nicer parts imo.
  7. Don't try to scare me, that's Norfolk! Dorset is full of hippy bohemian types, rogues and minted rat race escapees...... ...and grockles!
  8. I've got a secret entrance and I know the password.
  9. The tools they need to do that are finally falling into place. Finally getting the testing to sensible capacity, the RAF are trialling a contact tracing mobile phone app and NHS has breathing space etc etc. Can't hide forever.
  10. First place I'm headed!
  11. I suspect I wouldn't like him 'in real life' and I can't believe anything that comes out of his mouth. BUT, I can see there is a certain power in his chaotic style. He's unpredictable, he keeps his enemies on their toes and he doesn't really believe anyone could seriously threaten his country so he's not afraid. I'm not a Trump hater, I think he's total comedy and I sort of like chaos. But equally I'm not exactly team Trump.
  12. He set the tone for me when he mullered Assad with TLAMs! Prior to that the general political atmosphere was that no one would dare do such a thing after 20 years of controversial conflicts. I like that part of him.
  13. Riding on the wave of where our food comes from, getting back to our roots and ultimately connecting with our souls again, I thought some of you might be interested in this. Trailer, Full hour doc here. Click on 'Rent', sign up, and then use the promo code 'aguanegra' to rent it for FREE (You DONT have to put in bank details! Just use the promo code). Think it's only free for a couple of days.
  14. Do you think he says it as it is or just says what ever he wants? I know what you mean, he's fearless with his speech but I don't think he feels any responsibility to the truth.
  15. Old Grandad murdering topknot was impressive.
  16. Can I ask, mate, are they all closely related? ie one person in the family caught it and naturally spread it to his close family. Are all the positives symptomatic or being tested as a precaution? Also, how have the first ones fared? I hope they all come right.
  17. You're a f***ing arse!
  18. Mate, if someone needs a hug then go and f***ing hug them. All this stuff is about reducing the frequency of human to human contact and so the rate of transmission, one hug isn't going to make a f**k of difference to the pandemic but might make the world of difference to that person that needs it. We have lived every day of our lives with our mortality long before this, the threat of something killing us or others has been real before this and we make risk assessments for that every day from our first to last. This pandemic is no different, one comforting hug for someone who is struggling
  19. I can't figure out if that's good or bad? Surely by the end of this the countries that have had the lowest number of deaths/million citizens have come out the best? For instance Belgium looks to be in shit state compared to the UK and Italy with 650 /M compared to 390 and 460 /M, respectively (The UK and Italy aren't 'good' before anyone gets their knickers in a twist).
  20. You struggling with the English language mate? I didn't say they don't use aborted baby cells (they were used ONCE in the 60s), I said they aren't in the vaccine. Then I provided a short quote to explain how they are used.
  21. Sneaking out on lockdown...
  22. Sorry, didn't mean to be a dick, just some people (who aren't in similar professions) get touchy about it. Sat at my desk figuring out some sort of data normally. Broadly speaking I invent and develop geological measurements using whatever the engineers say they can make in real life. Mostly that means simulations, f***ing about with the data and looking into problems. It's not exciting.
  23. Yes. And no that's not a brag, it's just a job and I'm not changing the world anymore than a bin man.
  24. Look, I can't put a definite number on a plumber......... obviously physicists are absolutely invaluable though! However, if we are going to get down with the dirty job of balancing human lives then I'd say a UK population of about 5-10M is awfully tempting.
