  1. Caught short in my shed one night and couldn't be arsed to go to the house. Laid one on a newspaper and put it outside to dispose of later. Being the fleck wit I am forgot about it and the spaniel found it the next morning. Chewing it like a toffee she was lol. That night the dog was in the house and the mrs says " the dogs breath stinks, sort it out", as its licking her face.......well feck me I was in stitches and she's saying "what ? What ?" .........lol...when she fecks me off I have a sly smirk to myself !!!!!
  2. Its a belting place is Affric. Spent many a happy summer up there messing about, aquiring the odd fish and basically living like Robinson Crusoe

  4. Rob most of my 'finds' go to a mate who is a master, or grand wizard of the guild of taxidermists or whatever you chaps like to call yourselves lol. His stuff is unreal, the detail that goes into his mounts and the way he gets round problems is amazing. I love poking round his place and seeing what he has in......like a kid in a sweet shop I am .Bell

  6. Yes mate it's been lobbed in the woods behind his house. It's a crying shame it really is. It's the same with some birds isn't it Rob, don't you need an A10 for a tawny owl which are ten a penny.......but zilch for a dartford warbler or Corn Bunting ?? Bell
  7. Look at the size of this bad boy Found by my mate near Stirling knocked down. im guessing its a big dog otter. Dont think you taxidermy boys touch them these days as too much hassle with regulations ? Shame as it would have looked lovely skinned in front of my fire Bell

  17. Well thats what i kept telling my mate anyway, as we drove off the ferry. We normally do well at this venue but you've got to do your homework and know the tides So there we are bags unpacked, rods out, quick flick through the tidetable and off we go. The first mark is a deep drop off and you never quite know what's going to pull your string . it started quietly but as the tide grew the fish came onto feed and we managed to winkle out some small pollock and my mate had a beautiful Cuckoo wrass Well after that pleasant start my mate brings out the 'Big Rod' as he likes to call it "It
