    In real terms Mik, there are probably rooks crows and jackdaws there. It would be highly unusual to simply have rooks and jackdaws coming in. I'm sure you will concede that it's impossible to identify each of those birds apart from the smaller jackdaws. Regards Bell

    well if you know the difference between a crow rook and Jackdaw why didnt you spot them in the picture then feckin know all. His post is factually correct because some of those birds are crows.........maybe he should have entitled it "a morning on the crows, rooks and jackdaws" but it doesnt quite have the same ring to it does it ? No need to get shirty sweet cheeks so tell me how you can tell there are crows in the pic .... Its all about quarry identification Mik

    how long after hatch have they been killed mate ? first year for me and have a partridge wyandotte hatched 3 chicks about 2 week ago and all seems ok.

    No you can't mate. Common assault is a summary only offence and can only be dealt with in the magistrates court. Stick to your guns and bat it out. If its word on word I'm surprised you were charged.

    Some of them are Corvus corone are they not ? Why are they ? Same reason some of them are jackdaws........and you didn't spot that either mate lol.

    No good if you want to kill off grass LOL Yes Cookie, it's for killing weeds which is what the lad asked lol Weeds can be many things ncluding grasses if the lad takes your advice he be mighty disapppointed when the grass is still there grazon 90 is a paddock spray to kill docks etc etc and leave grass in tack not be shitty just highlighting Well highlighted Cookie.......you sound like the type of chap that knows his stuff

    Grazon 90 for nettles and brambles but you may need a Cph number to buy it. Sprayed some nettles off and you could see the feckers keeling over as I sprayed them......amazing stuff.

    I've moved her out the past 2 days and she's in a box. Been sitting as good as gold and not been out. Have put some water and corn nearby but it's untouched so she's sat tight. I'm new to all this but she seems full on broody. Il lift her off tomorrow and see if she has laid but feck me there's going to be little room left !,, lol

    I picked up a bird that's legs were covered in scaly leg......great big lumps of raised scales.......poor buggar. Dipped her legs in surgical spirit and then smothered in Vaseline to suffocate the mites.......surprising how quickly they improved. You can buy the ready made leg spray but the above work for me and Mary is back to her former glory..........As is her son........Jesus........my cockerel...........see what I did there !

    Have a broody bantie........it's a little swine, pecking and squarking every time you go near it. It's still laying eggs but I've put a mixture of copper black, maran and light Sussex under it. First time I've had a go.......I'm guessing there is nothing like a natural mother........21 days and counting.....
